Owl What As usual you make no sense I have better than facts I have figures that you are free to check I sold M&S 160 could buy it all back today for 107 you do the maths .. by your reasoning keep your money in the market at all times even if your are loosing thousands and thousands like you admitted you have recently.. As I have told you we do things differently and I decided to keep out of the market for a little while happy to make over 3%apr every second of every day ,I will also say the sticks I sold early this month Wood Group, NWG , Lloyds are all considerable down giving me the option to buy the same number if shares back with lots of money left over ,it’s a worry that you don’t understand..take my advise you will save over the next 3 months and then you will thank me ,smile

Many laughed including me when the serious players suggest a price of 1.25p for M & S a year ago ..and where are we now 107 laughable and I lost money too selling at 1.60 the fact I could of lost 5 times more scares me .. that’s 107 before they give their employees 2 pay rises , and they have to heat (winter approaching ) Staff and light their 900 stores 80p would not be impossible in 12 months

Sold 48.37 early this morning, just bought it all back at 37.50 that was a fast drop ,we will see ,my thoughts are it will settle at 50 by end of week fingers crossed good luck

Lloyds on the move topped up on Fri ,possibilities of another 5% on the SP in the next month should it climb to 53p or higher which is very very likely …this is my biggest holding BTW ….Very happy boy .

Listen to Just not worth the only one that talks the truth about this stock …. I am going to showcase here I don’t care if I’m showing off .I suggested days ago sell M and S at about 126 and invest in Lloyds , I bought 70k of Lloyds on the 16th Sept and at the mo up over £1200 delighted of course but I’m greedy reckon it has legs to a few hundred more I’ve put a stop sale on so I will clear at least 1k ,what makes me laugh about some of the posts over the last month is people saying “ ooooh yes I was in my local M and S yesterday and it was very busy “ whoopooopy ! Let’s all rush out and buy their shares LMAO . people have been making excuses for their performance for weeks now , sure eventually it may rise and I might miss the boat but I have saved thousands getting out at a loss selling at £160

Owl I don’t have the energy to explain what is fundamentally wrong with just about all your figures ,there is a factor you have not considered and that the FTSE could do DOWN 10% this 5% you talk about on your investment is not a done deal and if that happens with your logic you will now be down 10% in capital plus down the 10% inflation you love to talk about so now you have lost 20% should this happen .. so your 100k is now worth 80k ..where as I will have with no risk a guaranteed 103k before inflation .

Replying to myself here ..I don’t listen to anyones ramping advice on here ever , and I pray that none of you listen to mine I’m no smarter than guessing red or black on a roulette wheel and clearly TBH neither are any of you …BUT ! don’t you think my post yesterday Wednesday deserves a recommendation, I suggested that you M&S fans dump your worthless stock and buy Lloyds up today including yesterday 4% , target price well near 60p and your loved Mand S down to a record low 215 down another 2.65% so a possible 6% of a turnaround in 36 hours , don’t listen to Pokerchips he needs to be quiet when grownups are talking …I bought Lloyds at just under 46 so got wiggle room it will drop tonight due to profit takers like me so wait it’s too high a buy st this price , see how honest I am

OWL ..I’ll answer your Q of course I’m not able to time the market I have no idea where you got the idea that I could ?? ,we just do things differently your figures are wrong BTW if I sell 100k portfolio today and with the market drops 10% in the next 12 months I will have 90k which is very likely with the recession ahead , if I put the funds from my sale into a one year fixed rate @ 3% I will have 103k not 90k where do you get the notion I’d be no worse of ?? Please explain the way I see it I’d be £13,000 worse off bugger all to do with whatever the inflation rate is surely
