Having witnessed GSK yesterday and the savage reaction to Unilever today,
I'm growing increasingly cautious on a potential AZN results fall out.

Zejula missed analysts estimate on revenue and the reason
is perhaps lower oncology referrals and treatment with
Covid-19 disruption to cancer care.

AZN relies very heavily on this area.

As we hold diametrically different views on the AZN
vaccine in particular, it would be rather odd if we were the same person.

I'm strongly in favour of early vaccination because of the utter havoc
COVID-19 is causing - potential damage to the pancreas just the latest in a long line
of left overs from infection.

I could not care less who supplies a viable vaccine, if the UK had millions
of spare doses of the Pfizer vaccine I might prefer that option, but we don't.

So currently the volume vaccine option is Oxford/AZN, or wait.

And with over 100,000 dead in the UK, tens of thousands of previously fit
and healthy younger people left with in some cases irreparable lung damage,
waiting may not be the best option.

If there are better options to come this autumn from other companies, then great.

Velo - in a nutshell on more cautious v optimistic posts!.

I bought a small amount of Unilever this morning and
asked for any bearish perspectives on the ULVR board.

Having just reviewed the comments section in the FT,
there are some who appear far from optimistic -
I'm hoping valuation is reasonable(ish)
at a nice discount to sector peers -
whether that's warranted may be the salient question.

It depends on how tired I am when posting.

But if you want to have a dig at dyslexia or implicitly
suggest something else, go ahead ... clearly a classy individual, eh.

If you were paying attention you could have sold and bought
back, not that quick at assimilation, perhaps.
