The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
Well I'm obviously mistaken then (the team I had in mind is QPR by the way) and I've only ever posted under this alias, frankly it's not really all that important. Back in those days there was another (seemingly) knowledgeable poster, who would also now appear to be long gone - Drrosso - though I can't say I know who their team is (if they have such an affiliation)!
A confusing post where the numbers and currencies jump around somewhat meaning the flow is not entirely logical / coherent. A couple of points: - the PIs are not the ones who get to decide what may be fair and reasonable (they could offer double the SP on the day and this would probably look [to a non shareholder] as entirely fair and reasonable) - for the $3.3m of outstanding debt you also have to add accumulated interest (@ 25% pa) and fees - as TSTR will have no income before any SPMP dividends (in 2020 at the earliest) getting a loan from a bank may be quite a challenge (if it is as easy as you claim why didn't they do that instead of the OO?) - the $2m due for (now) OAR commissioning may not arrive in time, you also make a good point here in that TSTR also have on going (7 figure) annual operating costs to also fund out of their non-existent income I have never said they will do this, just that to me it is a very real risk (that I hope doesn't come to pass).
Wassatt, I've been here a fair while (I remember an SP of 1.2p) and also a certain posters habit of posting long song lyrics, especially on a Friday, when there was a fair bit of footy chat (I think your team is Saints). I don't recall when the poster left, or the reason why (banned?) but do recall you referring to regular missives from this poster as 'from beyond'. Perhaps 2+2 doesn't equal 4 and I'm wrong
Nice to see this formally launched today - I wasn't expecting this until after the Trade Mark process had completed - the cynic in me would suggest that it being timed for the Investor Day is not a coincidence!! I wonder if there have been any orders / collaborations involving Hexotene yet (hopefully someone will ask today)??
Actually there is another source of money due from SPMP - just not any time soon - and that is the repayment of the $8.8m (plus 15% pa interest) from the Mezzanine Loan, so this won't help!
pbody, the only money due from SPMP, that I am aware of, is the $2m payable upon plant commissioning, against which there is no firm date. This $2m is the final tranche of the $6m SPMP agreed to pay TSTR for the IP involved in the Roaster technology.
Wassatt, I never said it would happen, just that to me it's a significant short term risk especially if Odey can get to 75% (in fact they only have to get 75% of the vote, from those present at the meeting) then it becomes an option for them. Given that they are at 65% currently to me this says there is a clear risk - will they take the option who knows (I don't and neither do you) but I guess we will find out soon enough. To be clear I hope they don't as them not doing so means I get to maximise my investment.
Wassatt, thanks for the large holder details, two points: - the nominees listed are only technically the holders these shares are most probably PI holdings rather than 'large holders' - this list is from January 2017 and there have been significant changes to the share register since, including someone selling a decent additional chunk to Odey, and so it would be good to understand a more up to date picture Good find re Traxys.
Apologies my mistake - should've said Lansdowne Chemicals - note to self always re-check RNSs rather than rely upon your memory!.
lse99, I beg to differ - Max asked about listing the collaborations, China isn't a collaboration it's a Joint Venture something completely different. Similarly I didn't mention the Sales & Distribution Agreement with Huntsman (for Nanene) or that you can buy the Inks via the Sigma Aldrich catalogue (now part of Merck).
Max, whilst I have no real view / understanding of whether they may deliver short / medium / long term I posted the list below (with the addition of the RNS from today) on the 14th March in response to the Team Sky collaboration... - aerospace & defence (IAI, CT Engineering, Global aero engine / components manufacturer) - chemicals (US Fortune 100, Scafell Organics) - consumer goods (Global Co, Vivobarefoot, Global Sports Apparel Manufacturer, Richard Mille) - elite sport (Team Sky, Bromley Technologies) - medical (Dental, Dementia, Bandages) - 3d printing (Absolute Engineering) - batteries (Warwick Manufacturing Group) Hope the above helps (if I've missed any off could others please add and / or give a view as to timescale)

You are correct I did indeed forget about Spreadex and there (pre OO) 3% holding in TSTR. Hopefully with the Finals we'll see a revised major holdings list as it will be very interesting to see who still has what.
427ac, please show me the RNS where Traxys have taken a large stake in TSTR as I can't find it?? All I can see is the one from June 2017 where they signed a 5 year ore and feedstock supply agreement with SPMP, no mention of TSTR as a counterparty or any investment in TSTR (and no Holdings RNS to show any such holding).
More unwarranted investment advice, thank but no thanks (read back through yesterday's posts) and no I don't work for Odey or anyone connected with them. As I said in a post the other day - as I've been very open about my intentions for my holding - if anything I should be ramping the hell out of this share if you are all to be believed.
Yes SP Angel have been taking shares in lieu of payment for years, perhaps they still hold them, perhaps they don't - can you definitively say one way or the other?? As for the big holders - well these days that's only Odey and at the time of the OO they increased their holding by ca. 11% something that can only have been achieved by buying shares from some of the other large holders (and / or an awful lot of PIs). Do the Eyi family (the only other really big holders previously) still have any meaningful stake in the business??
SHD is getting a bit like his football team - annoying and boring - 3 months takes us to the end of June hence my timeframe for review, and reasoning for continuing to hold was explained in a post yesterday, so thanks, but no thanks, for the investment advice. As for the other SPMP Partners I don't expect them to be in it for charity and never said they were, and whether or not their Partner is Odey or TSTR makes no difference to them, or their investment (financially). As for Odey taking TSTR Private given the MCap and the large revenue streams you predict - thanks by the way for proving my point that, at least initially SPMP dividends will be low (10% of turnover) - why would they want to have to share this with other (TSTR) holders rather than keep it all for themselves??
francobrett, I agree the more the merrier (and across an ever increasing range of sectors too) means the likelihood of nothing emerging is increasingly de-risked, however my points are still valid in that any individual one may ultimately lead to nothing and they could take quite a time (measured in years rather than weeks or months) to come to fruition.
In response to one of the known shorters / rabble rousers Neill has tweeted a picture of a Chinese Patent Certificate covering the production process for Nanene..... https://twitter.com/neillricketts/status/978589224713801728
Another great RNS today (the 3rd in Aerospace plus also the work that Total Carbide are doing in the sector too). Though I guess the thing that everyone has to remember about all these collaborations is that: a) nothing may come of them (though in the short term VRS may get some revenue) b) that they'll probably take at least 1 year (if not 2 or 3) to produce anything meaningful / reach some form of commercial product / output
