Twisty Very sensible post, as others have said when questioned why haven't we hit the 20p mark. This share has hit that point 3 times ( thanks Mark) this shows that it is a volatile and higher risk share. That said the potential reward once uncertainty is resolved is at least 100% from todays price
Re JBs recent tweets, I have voted to remove R&N from the board but have so far not voted for reinstatement to board of JB. I like many of us have had many jobs and bosses over the years and am more than a little worried about his ability to work rather than dictate to GC as CEO. I totally get that he started the company from nothing but clearly became even more wealthy through the ipo and must have been advised before signing an agreement that gave a 61% majority shareholder effectively no say in their company. My ideal scenario for all shareholders would be the removal of R&N and FCA approval for GC and then he be left to run this company as JB and all of us would like to see . After all he is a major shareholder himself. Not trying to influence anyones voting instructions.
I think the most exciting thing about this venture is it is unique in a exploding and potentially game changing way of business / banking . Multi national companies are rapidly moving into Fintech and if SYME can capitalize on this then who knows how big this could be .
So in theory this new Commerce bank could refinance Amigo after December to facilitate further lending ( protecting its own investment and having a further foot in UK market ?
Current market cap 57M of which they aleady own 16% if they offered say 24p as takeover this would cost around 100M ? which seems very cheap considering a book value of 36p ps. Apologies if my math is wrong. Personally i would not want to sell all at 24p
asked many times but can someone more educated than me confirm whether AZ large purchase of share was actual cash purchase or as some have suggested just a transfer? I do not want to start an argument but this was a reason for increasing my small investment. Thanks
ALWIZZ Morning, you mention you had your SIPP with hl . Can I ask if you transferred to another provider . I only ask as I have recently opened a SIPP with them and transferring my pensions so would appreciate any pitfalls?
Am I right in my belief that US could be first to use . Well aware that they have same hurdles in terms of safety but sometimes seems more of a " can do" attitude?
Let's not go down that road after such a long walk to here. Just for a laugh I JB is here we all stick to the longterm plan start to peel off / hold 20 plus minimum . GLA
