But the Vanadium price will keep going up and very probably for most of the year keep ticking up.. all good as far as I can see

The simple solution is to outlaw short selling .... the argument it aids liquidity in the market is utter nonsense .. only liquidity it aids is the flows of capital from genuine investors to manipulative gamblers

I hope a few hedge funds get taken out - but I doubt it will make a bit of difference

People like soundbites ... so here are a couple:
- Over 100 VFRB projects this year in China
- 1% of the Storage market (in China) will be VFRB, but a lot in the concept to development stage
- Li-Io batteries have a 1 in 50 fire failure rate (2% have caught fire in China & S.Korea)

That last one is very telling and a key one for anyone considering storage

Rongke chap said the two smaller 100MW projects will be connected to the grid mid March- mid April, but the big one (800MW) has a number of construction issues so will be later this year.

Interesting note on LiB fires .... 29 out of 1,000 in S Korea (0.29%), but circa 2% if including China .... so a lot of fires in china

Depends what you mean by BE.... $17/18 is the cost of production.... So certainly a useful measure of BE, but the $24/25 is a good estimation of the all in costs including royalties

There is no one figure, just depends a little on what factors you consider.

But every extra $1 on the vanadium price is a lot of net profit this year

no .. $24-$25 all in (including taxes and royalties) ..... these are scaled so any price above base cost (circa $17-$18) will be close to BE

I know... The *******s will be dreaming up ways to constrain supply and raise the price
