I don't think many here felt the SP would be so directly linked to the Vanadium price especially given the past 18 months. There is a lot of frustration that the market does not get it ... I think there is an element of that, but frankly the spotlights are elsewhere ... something stunning, large and grabbing future cash flow attention (or just getting off AIM) and a lot of those super-troopers come spinning around... just look at EUA when the light span a bit .. +65% in a day or two

The evidence of 'good money' at these prices has been provided over the past few weeks following the results and agm. Remember that although the costs rose a chunk of that was related to the extended downtime and covid costs. The costa have a high fixed element so as volume goes up the cost per kg comes down.

Current Vanadium pricing is circa $40-42 and likely to rise to the high 40's (IMO' over time, costs will reduce from the 2020 30's into the 20's - so gross margin will be healthy.

The broker's all forecast sensitivity tables showing very healthy profits at these vanadium prices.

The other thing to note is that as electrolyte sales come online mid next year we can expect an uplift in margin from the value add: my own opinion is that after costs are stripped that would be in the order of 20-30% per kg.

I am really only looking at this as its a slow day ....

So if the Electrolyte plant had been built to the original timeframe it would have been fully commissioned for well over a year and selling what and to who ... remind us Disgruntled where the vast tonnage of electrolyte is actually flowing right now .

The new kids on the block are only really now just starting to build ....

Zero point having a 200MWh capacity plant sitting doing naff-all. The timing has always been linked (IMO) to Eskom in the first instance and the widely held view that the dinosaurs in SA politics would have been vanquished by a tsunami of free World Bank money .... who could have guessed that Gwede would still be there and fighting anything non-coal

I am as irritated as you - but the fact the plant is now being built at full speed (commissioning slower to time the market) tells us what ...... that it is all finally coming
