Its is absolutely clear the average price cannot be $35 next year or the year after. Just follow his calcs accordingly and we valuations that discount to our perception of true value but will at least cover for the political risks of SA.

good luck ... just don't bet more than a horse race as I do not hold much prospect of success ..... The float is more about the owners baling out cash and taking their wedge ... any new veh line costs more than the mcap of bushveld (and really big programmes between 2 and 3x our mcap. Return is 3-4 years away and it all gets washed back into the next ones.

Making affordable vehs (even at premium prices) on a common platform in volume can make billions: enough to pay for the next line and pay a dividend.... making a small number of high margin vehs bespoke can make a few million .. or a whacking great loss... but rarely enough for the next line.. story of small auto manufacturers

So the lock-in is for 12 months and then an 'orderly' sell down ... of 25M shares .

This certainly suggests they feel there is good SP growth prospect, but that is a big overhang for a low volume stock even though its only approx 5% of the shares.

I have invested in FC as a lender for more than 4 years .. made a decent return and learned a few lessons. I looked at the prospectus and thought it was not for me.

If it falls a lot (and personally it does seem overvalued), then may consider a punt.
