Difference is that Bushveld are making oodles of net and growing profit right now (with lots more to come). CNS have caught the CV wave with network security products and will be hostages to that wind. They just went up so much on the back of a big order, but the numbers rather say it will not be enough to put them into NET profit-land.

Not really a great example .. but yes .. a doubling would be great as a start point right now !

The astute will notice the Bushy profit figure is not the one just posted - like all these tools they sometimes take a while to update and are not truely live, but rather drift with data.

The other noteworthy things are how much profit some make with lower MCAP's than us, and if you looked at their Gross reported profits, some are smaller than the NET profit.

It is the bigger picture rather than the absolute.... we are right at the top of AIM for profitability, and we know how much growth in revenue & profit is to come.

Interestingly on the monday Vanitec presentations one person had put on a slide the round trip efficiencies were:
Li-ion : 99%
VRFB : 60%

According to Sharescope, out of 726 on AIM, Bushy has dropped to 77th for Gross Profit but moved up to 7th for NET profit behind:
Burford Capital (225), Dart group (177), Highland Gold Mining (158) Zoltav Resource (155), Secure Income (154 and Draper Esprit (111).

Below Bushy the next 6 have NET profits in the 70's, then 3 each in the 60's and 50's. We are right up there ... but clearly failing miserably and about to collapse according to some idiots on this BB !

I know .. but the two key bits that should not be missed:
1. Data Centres are growing (exponentially)
2. There is a strong desire to have a carbon neutral stance and power from renewable's

Gotta have a lot of 4, 8 and 12 hour storage for that .... now just need to heed the 'how do you warranty the VFRB' question and lots of orders are there to take - they already accept it is cheaper to operate and more suitable after all

yup ... just look at the bio's of some of them. Very influential and very very encouraged at what they said, how they spoke, and the real clarity of business thinking.

.... get the real impression a lot is going on in the background and not much more to click into place.

The Vanadium spike was an excellent thing for us really as it generated so much cash, dilution has been kept down and a strong cash balance sheet maintained.

The SP drop in line is not great and unlike Glencore, does not track Vanadium price uplift.

We have a very strong balance sheet, very good cash and profit generation, essentially no debt and growing production capacity . We are in a good place really !

Knutsford ... I barely made any up to 2:15 as there was so little noteworthy. I was a little surprised by the Vanadium volume predictions for VFRB: 5,000 by 2025 and 25,000 by 2030..... I rather took it to be annual amounts though so as we already know, a significant deficit in production right now.

After utterings on re-usability being so prominent, I was a bit surprised to hear that the analysis of best re-use, was refurb into another flow battery. There was some basic estimates of extraction back out with an end sale price of between $1.5 and $3/lb of V05. Again, surprised, as if extracted out is it as good as 'new' ? or was that the estimate of margin available ?

Early days and to be fair, but again, the numbers matter to the leasing world calculations rather a lot. At $1.5 recoverable basically, the lease amortises the depreciation all the way down.

But I was a bit pre-occupied as I had another meeting to get into ... perhaps there was more..

As for 87p .. what happened to Thunder1's prediction last week of a 16.24 (very exact !) close on friday. Then we have had various predictions of closes.

I am sure about one thing however. the re-rate is imminent !
