Lots of angst about valuation, what it 'should be', and don't get me wrong, I am right there thinking we are currently undervbalued by many times. But Bushveld is, I think, still seen as a single volotile commodity miner in a junk status country. Until the BE story really bursts into life with roll-outs next year, I doubt much will change.
So what if BE does not take off ? What if, we really do largely just mine Vanadium and sell it to steel ?
In 3-5 years (depending on rollout planning more than anything), production will reach around 8,400. Lets say prices stabalise at $35 and costs at $18.... so just under $300M Revenue and $143M Gross profit (on 100% basis). So depending on Vametco split, taxation etc ... a net profit of $50-$80M. If Bushveld has largely finished expanding then say half of that is returned as div.... so that is 2.0-3.5p ish per share.
Capital aside, I would be happy with a 100 grand div every year in 4 or 5 years time ... with a strong industry level yield of 4% that would still be 50-90p a share.
There are always choices and get rich pahrama, but a 4,5,600+% rise and chunky div in 4-5 years is a heck of an annualised return.... and with limited real risk.
Now if as we expect, BE flies, then those numbers suddenly will look very low !
