I'm waiting to see if COP 26 brings any surprises. Not necessarily the UK, but Korea may spring one or two. And, a few weeks is not going to make much difference.

I wonder why Linde don't exploit the turquoise hydrogen route, I must admit if you have to produce hydrogen from natural gas, it is a much more attractive solution and avoids the need for Co2 storage. See https://tinyurl.com/7nvxz5hk

Does anyone have any information on membrane-free water electrolysis? Clean Power Hydrogen, manufacture them and have won an order from Octopus Hydrogen, for the supply of a 1MW electrolyser. They claim it is a less expensive and more robust technology than PEM. Their web site does not give much information, but they claim it allows green hydrogen to be produced efficiently using intermittent renewable electricity with no rapid drop off in performance that is associated with membrane technologies. It also uses a lower grade of purified water, there has to be some disadvantages surely or it could be a serious threat.
