The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Not sure if it's the evil spread or if folk are just holding waiting for news. Fingers crossed for the good kind.
Buying in at a low level to bring my average down isn't tempting. This will either fly or sink like a stone. Fingers crossed for good news. More buys than sells is the only positive.
A bit of good news will send the price rocketing. Starting to change my opinion of the management I used to think they were useless but now I'm beginning to think they are very smooth operators playing the market like a fiddle.
It's going up again and this time when I hit break even I'm out of here
If i ever see a leap/leak frog device I will take great pleasure in thrashing it with a stick Basil Fawlty style Win or lose, sink or swim One thing is certain, we'll never give in Side by side, hand in hand We all stand together Play the game, fight the fight But what's the point on a beautiful night Arm in arm, hand in hand We all stand together
Likewise I could have sold yesterday and broken even, fell for the hype hoping for a win.
Small time investors like myself are often attracted to the cheaper shares. Had big wins on Avis and RBS but I regret the day I bought these. They make water meters, seemed like a no brainer at the time. How wrong I was. I know nothing about this share lark, but my top tip is only invest what you can afford to loose.
I did say call me Mr Thicko doh yes more buys than sells. As that great philosopher Ronan Keating once said "Llife is a rollercoaster , you've just got to ride it". Can anyone explain why the spread is so wide and if I bought and then sold straight away who would get the difference ???
Is someone taking the michael ? Purchasing 666,666 shares Call me Mr Thicko but why after 2 days of more sells than buys the share price is still down
The spread is killing me faster than lard ever will. I WANT OUT
I know nothing about this share lark but I only invest what I can afford to loose. Trying to inject some danger and exitement into my boring life.
in that case yipppeee 0.1p please ASAP. Only 1 snag when the likes of Barclays and Natwest sort out our holdings won't the likes of us flood the market and make the sp plumit ???
Isn't that a correction figure ? Thought the market closed at 4:30 plus the share price is wrong
Natwest just as clueless, at one point today my shares were showing a value of 42k not bad for a £400 investment. At the moment they are showing a nil value, hopefully tomorrow they will fix it. I have 140k shares I'm guessing tomorrow this will change to 1.4 Million. So if it lets me sell at 0.0005 that means £700 so I'm well up. Am i wrong ???
