those trades at 4.61p were buys but my broker is quoting 4.73p ofr a buy so it looks more folks are exiting here.incuding someone who just dumped five grand's worth. Well if you ask Newcastle or Rangers supporters they are hardly complimentary about Mike Ashley's involvement with their businesses. Isn't he already down substantially here? I suspect he has another motive for his stake here other than this being a turnaround story. Debenhams seem to be always discounting and have a lot of physical infrastructure but seem to me very behind the curve compared to other retailers. A very tough call AJ. The company is expanding at a rate of knots and was certainly a buy for me below �35. I wonder how much Ryan Air's new baggage policy will affect the sector with WIZZ fairly vulnerable revenue wise. Having bought in the mid teens and again in low twenties it has been a fairly airtight investment for me but now wonder whether to take flight or strap in. It is remaining above �35 despite the possible clouds on the horizon so I am happy to stay the trip for now.

I think the slowing sales and the fact that this is a 'sell on the news' share accounts for most of the drop. Added to that the strong performance was already priced in as it has been well trailed. It could and should perk up as it has affirmed the dividend is safe. The sector as a hwole though is a bit jittery with headlines switched to slowing house prices. wage squeeze, unafforability etc. This dampens sentiment so despite the safe yield I suppose investors are hardly seeing Barratts and the sector as a good home for their money.

Hi Gray, I am considering taking flight myself. I would like Sage's view on the implication for RYA and the sector of RYA's new baggage policy. WIZZ gets 40% of its revenue from baggage fees which is one of the highest of any UK quoted company. I had thought WIZZ was wOrth �41 and would still buy under �35 in normal circumstances but fear the impact of RYA's new baggage policy. Of course if it proves to be the wrong flight path for RYA then WIZZ and others will have a clear runway. Decisions, decisions!

Morning JL. Glad to see another poster as I thought I had the aisles to myself. I meant to go into the changing room when this hit 2900p but am staying on after yesterday's update. At around 20 x 2018 earnings and with such good growth I would say it is still cheap.. Its e retail business still has lots of growth to aim for. The chairman says customers don't' like a mix of brands in a shop which is precisely what you don;t get with Ted Baker. It also doesnt have costly high street shops but just selectively placed outlets. I am not concerned by today's drop as it must just be profit takers after yesterday's jump. I see them being cleared quickly and next stop is 3300p.

Still falling after yesterday's falls, I suppose the government disarr(m)ay is not helping as it opens up the prospect of a labour government and nationalisation.. I am still happy to buy in stages and average down as the yield is just getting better. There must be a floor somewhere as this becomes ludricously cheap. I guess it also highlights the government's of all hues desire to meddle in what they do not understand. They just succeed in driving businesses away for ideology..

Morning Chris. I agree with you and all the other commneters below. ther political concerns apart from being renationalised are all in the price. What isn't in the price is the fairly safe yield for now and the recent policy decision on how mcuh the water companies must pay which was rather benign. I switched my regular investment to this from another share simply on the basis of yesterday's drop. It has got to be oversold and with the divi to be paid on 1st Feb, I expect quite a few people will take a scrip on it at these levels. As elephants don't gallop it is a chance to accumulate at these levels bearing in mind it was not long ago tahtw e were at 1040p! Strong buy.

TED has got his Sunday best on today and it s still only Wednesday. Cracking update especially when you put it alongside Moss Bros whose results would turn investors a whiter shade of pale. I am looking for broker upgrades ater today's announcements and when you consider some were on 3100p perhaps there will be 10% upside even after a good rise today. Premium stuff!

I have been a buyer of these under 2500p so had a decent run up. I am not sure what the xmas trade was like although the branch in Kings X station was pretty busy anytime I passed. There is plenty of growth to go for online so I guess that is where my focus will be tomorrow. Not too far from my Target Price of 2900 so I am hoping there will be enough good news tomorrow to push us towards that price.

This share is on a high P/E DB but justifiably so. It is poering ahead now and if it can break 500p I see no reason why it can;t go to 550p or even 600p. My initial target of 460p below has been smashed and I feel it is coming on investor's radars now.

It is interesting to see this cannot sustain above 5p despite a few attempts. The news lull doesn't help of course. But neither does the cashburn and the lack of announcements on contracts. Especially as it attempts to turn around a H1 loss of one million quid. I do wonder that despite the company's recent pronouncements whether the market senses a placing is inevitable here.

Good pots TT. Thanks for taking the time to analyse and post here. I really wish the company would put Norpalm to bed one way or another so that the deal can properly be evaluated. Given their RNS about what it constitutes then I would expect a period of suspension of the stock anyway. Not too long until we get the Q4 production figs which aren't meaningful in themselves but at least clears the decks and is a prelude to the move into high season.
