there is a lot to be aimed for it the Government and LA's are forced to comply:
Three out of the 160 social housing towers identified as dangerous following the Grenfell Tower fire have been reclad with safer materials. Figures released by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government show that the number of council and private blocks over 18m high in England found to be wrapped in similar combustible plastic-filled cladding has increased to 312. A total of 299 are likely to be in breach of building regulations on fire safety. Just over 100 towers which are home to tenants who rent from councils and registered social landlords have not had any combustible cladding removed, despite panels failing tests. LGA Chairman, Lord Porter, said landlords needed urgent clarity about how they should be replacing materials on their high-rise blocks. Lord Porter said the Government must meet the unexpected exceptional costs from the major remedial works.
PTSG's sprinklers would be just the ticket.
