Andy....investors here will have worked out for themselves there will be NO Verbier drill this year. The concern should be how reliable is the official information being released. IMO JOG Board are as in the dark as committed Investors. Without a proper release from Seadrill some will conclude West Pheonix is currently mechanically unreliable. This thought maybe completely wrong but until the Operator clarifies what are interested party's the think whilst the Platform was moored in a shipyard for 2 weeks and then moves some 15km and is static for almost another week.

Andrew Benitz and Directors are probably tearing their hair out, seemingly having to live with an unreliable programme, and possibly as a Junior partner feeling impotent.

As an LTI, not in for quick profits, have patience, but do get concerned when constant slippage occurs which is only countenanced by seemingly unreliable reports.

WP moved abt 10Km from Averoy dockyard and is now moored 1Km off Bremsnes where the platform has been for 5/6 days. MarineTraffic indicates WP has "limited manouverbilty". What that means is anyones guess. A number of support vessels have been coming alongside for several days.

Any opinions on West Pheonix's current position?

The Verbier appraisal well will seek to clarify the potential volume range in the Verbier discovery.

Verbier was announced in October 2017 with an initial volume range between 25 and 130 million barrels of oil. Co-venturers in licence P2170 are Statoil 70%, Jersey Oil and Gas 18% and CIECO V&C (UK) Limited12%.

The Pip prospect is located in the Fladen Ground Spur area in license P2318. The Bigfoot prospect is 30 kilometres (around 20 miles) south of the Mariner field, in license P2314. These licences were awarded in the 29th licensing round in 2017, with Statoil (50%) as operator and BP (50%) as partner.

"The four wells will be drilled in a continuous campaign that is expected to start in the third quarter and last for four to five months".

Look at the rns 24th July where Equinor advised JOG Verbier likely to be 3rd in sequence of UKCS drills.

If Equinor keep to the programme Verbier will be last.

Look on Equinor website where it gives all their drill projects. It was stated on 1st March and includes the 3 UKCS drills.

It is possible. Lets see which direction WP heads once out into open water.

Is a very ambiguous term....not precise and leaves the door open to allow a timing adjustment.

At least we now know WP has moved from the dock (Averoy), however the platform has now stopped. Maybe they are waiting for tidal conditions before continuing under Bridge?

A1 Investing is always a risky business, never invest more than you are prepared to lose, always, but always do research into the Company and it's Directors/ Officers. Read up the many Financial Analysts/Reporters who have knowledge of the sector within which you look to invest....some are better than others, you have to just assimilate what is discovered, see how the available information stacks up and decide who to believe. There are sharks around who will gladly relieve you of hard earned funds.

JOG being a relatively small Company is IMO a Med- risk with a high upside potential.

We,PI's are all in the same boat and naturally wish to enjoy a successful outcome, however recent history has been disappointing, not sure JOG's Partners have been completely open regarding the Drill programme. If correct this must be a concern to our BOD and does have ramifications on relationships going-forwards.
Trust between Senior and Junior Partners in any relationship needs to be maintained for ALL to ultimately benefit.

Imminent is a very inprecise term, could be tomorrow, next week, next month. For the benefit of doubt lets say tomorrow.
So the drill campaign begins tomorrow starting with Raynfrid, then Bigfoot, Pip and finally Verbier.
Raynfrid to take 81 days, Bigfoot and Pip to take 30+ days each. With No downtime and little allowance for travel, we are into March when Seadrill have contracted West Pheonix elsewhere.

Assume arm-twisting is happening and the programme is being re-jigged, then the stated plan to drill Verbier could be achieved this year.

The Results are sound, cash- burn for staffing is interesting as Graybird observed only 1 person occupied the offices in St Helier. Where are the others based......working from Home?

As many here have stated, an acquisition of producing assets seems unlikely....there is no point to chase an asset for the sake of it. The BOD are mindful of Dilution, presumably once Verbier is fully evaluated funding to acquire assets will be assessed?

Am a LTH with a fair holding and am prepared for the long haul, however as a Junior Partner JOG is not in control. I will review in 6 months.
