Rights Issues usually get acceptance when an SP is at a fair level. The last published NAV was 74p, it is hard to believe this BOD or any will contemplate a Fund raise which discounts that value and dilutes existing holders. Were we at 50p, possibly.

One suspects the BOD, like many company's at this time, are struggling to map a route forwards.
Div is certain to be suspended at the very least, other sites will be liquidated. I seem to remember the Trueman Brewery was being retained, this needs review.
In such troubled times Company's with cash in the bank survive others not so.

Scooby, agree cash is king. There are bargains, I still believe the market has further to fall producing even better bargains. Am sitting on my hands for the moment.

As of this morning the SP is trading at a 60% discount to the last Audited NAV. Excellent value for any predator

Volume sales through supermarkets sounds fine, but don't forget they ( supermarkets) have a very aggressive buying policy where margins are wafer-thin. I know a large supplier of Cider who has to work on 1p/litre margin.

Trent, afraid too many think HM Gov literally have a "money-tree" and cannot see further than the end of their nose. Whether borrowed or otherwise any National Funding has to be repaid.

I spoke to a good friend this morning who completed on a substantial Property Portfolio just 2 weeks ago. He is now very concerned his various tenants will renege on rents and the value of his portfolio is going to devalue significantly.

Trent as you say it is a risky game ( selling and hoping for a lower entry). It may well work in this situation but don't bank on it.

I have decided to stay put on all my holdings with a view to buy, selectively, at lower prices. I suspect the market is going to tumble for sometime yet. Now the Government is talking about the over 70's being virtually compelled to self -isolate for 4 months and if broken Police will have powers to arrest. Christ what is it coming too, many 70 yr olds I know are fit as a fiddle. What is also forgotten, it is this age group who have the most disposable income. What the hell is that going to do? Barchid we have/are singing from the same Hymn sheet which may be unpopular, however I always take the view short-term loss(dividend) will give long term benefit. Not many can or will understand especially when they depend on income from div.

a further point, and don't kick me for saying, it is possible a suspension of Dividends will occur for a short time. This is being mouted by other companys. Don't be surprised at anything in this Market.
