As for RNS from listed company's, where have you been the last month? Taylor Wimpey, Shell, Barclays, Kier the list goes on.
Apart from the above named and others I am also into unlisted SME's (EIS & SEIS), who are ahead of the game otherwise they will go under.

In these troubling times when it is generally agreed things will not be the same in the future. Many good company's will not survive. Many are articulating strategies for the future and survival,by passing /restricting dividend payments, reducing the pay bill ( either temporary or more permenant) including most noticeably the remuneration and bonus's of Executives...they are planning to survive.
Company's who have no clear strategy and unable to communicate are living in Cloud Cuckoo Land.
Sitting back and doing nothing is wreckless and is only self-serving, whether there is money in the bank or not only displays an incredible arrogance. Basically " I am alright Jack, sod you"

Scooby quite agree, at least we are sat on a Gas field whereas oil is much more volatile.

For a virtually non-trading company and no communications, one is bound to wonder, in these very trying times, what the hell management is doing.
Exec remuneration reductions is spreading like CV. GS and co need to take notice as Michael Spencer and others will be seeking new blood.

Many Executives are joining the growing brigade who taking pay cuts. Most are quite significant, Shell's CEO has taken a 50+% pay cut. Trust their partners will be influenced into following suit!

It was the lead up to the crash and it's inherent causes following the end of WW1. Greed in essence. Banks became Villians and to some extent still do. Joe Public is more knowledgeable and so are Banks. Hoover failed to act and Roosevelt did meanwhile Germany went through an economic miracle with the Rise of the 3rd Reich. The rest is history.
As a Finance guy I worked under 40 years ago would say "History repeats Itself".

Wigwammer you are right States have acted quicker but the eventual cost is going to be Astronomic....UK's WW2 debt which at the end of the War amounted to 200% of GDP, was only completely discharged in 2006, some 60 years after the end of hostilities. A sobering thought for the future generations.

Trent fully understand your and others view, however it must be remembered there are Holders who have seen an opportunity these last 2 weeks, at current levels and below. There are also financially stressed PI's who have little choice. Don't forget Institutions who may have difficult choices where Investments are involved. We are in very uncharted waters.
Investors would do well to read the way the 1929 crash evolved and it's effects on not just personal wealth but Corporate. It is quite frightening.

It is a perfect opportunity for a Predator(Asset Breaker) to move in with disclosed NAV of 74p even though that figure is likely to be revised downwards following the current pandemonium which is creating uncertainty on Property values. Agents are predicting a 20% devaluation, which up to 50p would still give an Asset Breaker a decent profit.

Marstons like majority of Brewers achieve significant margins through their own Direct outlets. Although retail outlets will keep things ticking over ( margins tend to be miniscule in comparison), any prolonged closure of Pubs and hostelries, will create unimaginable fiscal stress.
It is to be hoped by Mid June we are seeing signs of normality.

ny future sales/income projections are erroneuous at this time. We don't know how long Pubs will be closed, the Summer period has just had several event hits and now the Olympics are cancelled.
There may be mountains of cash waiting for a home, a Right's Issue of whatever complexity is going to need some substantial forward-looking budgets to convince Shareholders, Investors and Underwriters, who will have a huge choice of Investment opportunities.

The Great Depression finished and Bankrupted vast numbers of Businesses. The way the Global Economy is so interdepenant, this Event has a long way to run. Trent your opinion may, or not be close to the bottom. The truth is No one knows and it is all speculation. One thing is certain, Debt is always a huge constraint especially when future income is uncertain

Shell have reduced Capital expenditure by $5billion to $ 20billion.

Trent it is reasonable to think now Pubs etc are closed, patrons are getting supplies elsewhere and now Draft ( casks) are being replaced with bottles/cans, Breweries may have problems uprating bottling operations....lines can only work at a certain speed similarly for canning lines, also bottle supplies may not be so readily available. Remember many indrustrial operations keep a very limited stock of usables.
