Hi Brom, in my view in any well communication to another zone is always bad news as will cause pressure loss, the frack invaded the other zone, there was no block/seal between them, can’t remember if they fracked the both the perforations together or there was a brigde plug involved, the change from horizontal to vertical was to save money as it was an appraisal well, vertical wells seam the choice of company’s looking to get the application right of removing oil, as we know production wells are more commonly horizontal wells if there is more of an economic case with one much better producing formations, if there is more potential in each many formation then a stacked play could be economically viable then vertical the choice!

We had a lot of news from the beginning of June to the end of June which started with a strategic update after the True deal and was about the big flow rates and Nitrogen discovery and acquisition of WD leases, the lack of news is because motions is put in place to further and expand on these and maybe a deal for the N2, or DTU too come as the silence too me is that they are working too market, also the Helios has to be in motion, it said in the strategy update about more focus on main projects because the cash is there to do so, I would like to know the plans for Helios going forward after the Hydration stage of the eagle is opened up which I’m sure we’ll be updated!

Also the Forbes article is generic we all know this info it’s just been condensed and appealing to a mainstream publications, it won’t have updated leases in there the last RNS showed the latest acreage position in Wd!

Of course buying more acreage will be good in West Denver in a the Niobrara, Codell and Ft Hays Formations, anyone that’s done research in the Denver Basin realize that this is prime real estate and the majors pay a lot for leases in extension of hotspots, the Denver area has been prolific in oil and gas, problem is that urbanization has occurred and a lot of acreage has been built on, 3617acres is a good find and in an area that is not near residents, and I welcome more if can be gained on!

Depends if the local reservoir around Wildhorse has depleted enough to warrant protection ie (Reservoir Pressure Drop) and the frac half lengths travel over 660ft, it’s a big frac as said in the Interview and if they prove that the production figures for Wildhorse improve on an 8 well pad between Wildhorse/Buckskin in Niobrara B and maybe not protect Powell/Grizzly in Niobrara C then all the other operators with 16 wells will have to think about employing protection especially on 16 well pads!

Highlands belief of drilling 8 wells for the most recoverable oil per 640 section with a production horizontal distance between wells of 1320 ft is optimal with the big frack HNR’s analysis has concluded, lots of 16 well pads in area, them infill drills will surely need well protection if their plan is to drill all the wells and there’s not many company’s that can afford to drill all of the wells in one go!
