The WD acreage is in a bowl shape at the bottom of the lead east edge of the front range just west of the Golden fault at the start of the Denver Julesberg Basin so is a cross between a Conventional vs Unconventional discovery!

The oil and gas is trapped by the fault at the lowest point of the DJ Basin as the quotes of the well in question of producing naturally without stimulation which is a signature of a conventional well but being targeted for a horizontal campaign with fracturing with new completion techniques!

There are some wells around the area all vertical and have produced so there’s our appraisal wells done and evaluated!

So in answer to your statement about what Highlands need is a discovery (conventional) then this would be!

The cost associated with producing Barret 1B-14 are very low, this was a re-completion well and has been proven to provide near pure N2 stream so not much processing to sell to market, there would need separation units and compressors and the market sounds to be close to the site as per presentation and cuts the costs of nitrogen production plants so there will be plenty of interest to buy at a cheaper price.

If you look around acreage there are a lot of plugged wells in area so it could be a case of again cheap re-completions to add or even if it’s a new vertical wells still would be relatively cheaper as with no stimulation as it is a conventional reservoir.

There is also a link to RP with the acreage gained in Hamilton and it looks as if there is a lot of land this person owns so an arrangement for more leases could come off with same person, as they have identified more acreage there as in RNS!
