I have been looking at Kinder Morgan’s CO2 wells the Goodman Point in Mcelmo Dome in Montezuma, CO where they found the biggest reserves, 3TCF the early vertical wells were the same flow rates as Highlands Barret 1B-14, but then a couple of years past and they changed the design to a 2000ft horizontal well with a HCL 25% Acid frack (Hydrochloric Acid)

The first month production was 799,000 mcf.

So about 26,663 mcf/d.

If the head of Schlumberger is saying there is going to be a slowdown in production “a wall” as he calls it, then well productivity technology will definitely be very useful in the years ahead! A mention of parent/child well interference causing supply problems in the biggest suppling basins!

The misplaced use of the word “Duster” to create fear amongst investors when I have explained the use of the word in oil and gas and is not applied correctly and is continually using word to unhinged fellow investors and cause disruption!

JJAL a duster is when your drilling and you don’t find oil in a formation that supposed too, the terminology is offen used in an appraisal well situation In exploratory wells, not production wells, so now you know not to use again, slap on rist!

In the case of predictions JJAL I think it’s best to confirm with the Data to see if there is continuity of the Niobrara Formation and only being 660ft away from high producing wells I think it’s time to stop posting garbage as you to the board is sounding like a bitter nutter (balanced nutter) if you like!

What else is he going to talk about next now after Dave shot him down, I’d be busy deleting old twitter posts with inaccurate calculations to save some credibility!

I agree with the land position jof and it’s the same place i’ve been looking at too and have come to same place with no collaboration with yourself the Plainview wells is the MPIC one!

Jof posted a couple of days ago it’s a must read and goes into a lot of detail of what you would want to know with a multi formation oil and gas extension being the lowest point (Good for Thermal Maturity) of the DJ basin near the Golden fault (west edge of front range) which is the trap that seals the whole basin (double faulted) with a higher than normal degree of Natural Fractures and reservoirs that give the oil and gas in a conventional way (No fracturing) but being treated as an unconventional target!

I guess an average down wouldn’t be as big as the trades are, I know it’s probally the amount of money your used to dealing with compared to how much you hold but they just seam bigger than you would normally get for an averaging down!

You would be looking at much much more then 20p on 104 wells!

Have been looking at this Noodle and the first lot of leases could have come from an abandonment oil and gas auction from a previous operator not paying for the cost of remediation work around site, the fees payed for leases could have balance out of the cost of the work! The well plans are not available yet but will be this week would have thought then we can see where the acreage is!

Cd66 but that’s just the Eagle Formation as the first and main target is the Muddysands Formation which is the one with Natural Gas and Helium!

On a 12 stage vertical frack on the lower Eagle would be 696 Mcf and on the 2 higher Eagle Formations 216 Mcf so a combined Eagle Formations would be 912 Mcf so that’s pretty good!

So they are also pointing out that Helios can be economic, which is really good news!

Given the thickness of the formation, Highlands believes that it could stimulate the formation with potentially up to a dozen stages and achieve economic production. The ongoing testing will confirm over time the commerciality of the project.

Have a good read of this and store in your favorite’s, got to be near Jefferson Acreage here and one the wells “blewout” which means the pressure was so high the blowout preventer failed what’s know as a gusher!

Also talks off Naturally Fractured formations which is v.good to produce more and lots of formations the same Codell, Niobrara and Ft Hayes also adds with new completion techniques of today would greatly increase production also good for verticals and the change to horizontal would be very exciting!
