Mcap is well below where it should be when compared to other companies. Even Bloe where I have recently bought a few has a higher mcap and they produce 4/5 of nowt at the moment. Sentiment and trust has been decimated here and will remain so until credibility starts to be gained through results. Yes A.J..if they actually finish something, I would be a bonus, if they finish something successfully it will be transformational and we can all go and have a lay down to get over the shock. :) of course, I am still here because of being stupid and for believing that it really should not be that difficult to get oil out of the ground where oil is known to be hiding and in the end, success must materialise. If this was just a matter of poking a drill in the ground in random unproven territory in the hope that something good comes out of it then I would not be here.

Hi S7, bought 50k only in there today. I am interested in the variation on penetration form explosives to the horizontal mini drill. If successful it may be of interest to Zen engineers for use in the Kura basin, similar geology etc.

A.J. dunno what to say mate. I mentioned that the chance of success here was zero some months ago and got verbal from some micky mouser whom has already fekked off elsewhere with his loss. So far, the odds haven't really changed based upon past performance, but these days I have to work on the basis that yesterday was the last day of their past and tomorrow the first day of their future. We/they can only change the future by acting today in the best way possible based upon our random and sometimes inexplicable decisions. Dwelling on past mistakes is highly negative and toxic, learning from them is another story of course. In any case, on Monday, tomorrow will be history, today will be last week and Bob's your Uncle. Its all nonsense mate but all the best, hope it works out for us in the end.

Zen action next month earliest methinks, but it would be nice to hear that those well preparations were completed and all civils works are done. It would be good to hear about the logging, good to hear about our reservoir engineers' current view on maximising performance for little costs, would be good to hear that Zen have inspected the 260 and that they have started to arrange customs clearance and shipping arrangements. Good to know where the A100 is in its delivery program and when is it starting work on one of those high impact Z's? Good to know the 2019 field development plan for Azer, and what about those Italian assets? how are they doing?. Where is our 1000bbls a day and why are we not at least at £20m Mcap?

The point is, and the question about commercial viability obviously relates to whether the costs/risk of setting up 102 as an injector an then stuffing water down into the formation is a viable proposition when costs/risks are evaluated. 101 and 102 are commercially viable as they stand, especially as prod has increased for the time being.
It may be that the cost/benefit from drilling and the success at 103 negates the benefit of spending valuable resources on the water injection. Further evaluation is obviously under way, however, if 400 is a realistic number then on the face of it the W.I should be a go-er. Anyhow, I am just a looker-in at your good news. I bought and sold before Christmas to pay for my turkey, wine, whisky, presents etc. Should have not sold but 7-8.5p over a couple of days was an acceptable profit. All looking good here though for a few more p's on the price. (they will need cash though---they all do as some point :))

RNS states that they need funds to complete this well and that they may issue further shares. After some indication from logging results and after drilling ahead starts up again is my guess.
S.P drop back is not unexpected, the time needed to compete logging and analyse results is unknown, the results of which are unknown, there has been a good rise from 7.0p. It's all just a guess anyway until the flow is flowing and the flow rates are stable and the oil is being sold---HNY

Just for info and due to their being nowt happening here until goodness knows when, I took a tiny number of AAOG yesterday morning. They might have some action one way or another between now and new year. I would not take this as investment advice as my record is far from rosy, but I bought them for something to do. Another one with early 2019 potential is BLOE. Of course, do your own research before buying anything. Apols if anyone doesn't like the idea of mentioning other shares

Muradkhanli has similar rock characteristics in the upper cretaceous to that of Jafarli. Well M221 drilled in the upper Cretaceous in 1981 in Muradkhanli produced an initial 3000 bbls a day which dropped back to 1400 in 1999. 18 years of good production till the well collapsed and prod dropped to 50.
C37 is targeting upper cretaceous in Jafarli (with similar lithography ( rock characteristics) to Muradkhanli.) Now... I mentioned getting 3000 a day out of a horizontal well rather tongue in cheek a few months ago, but hey, one never knows, it would certainly be a price changing event and that 4p resistance will be blown out of the water. I would be uber happy with the 1999 figures innit.
