K.B.. Morning. I was being facetious with my post tbh, we are of course all waiting for this wayward rig that could have become available in Nov, or was it Oct. However, if it had been rented at the time, it would have been used for the work that the 80 did and would have cost according to Zen, an additional 250k, so, on the one hand we may have had 37 finished by now and on the other hand it would have cost more for the same end result. If 37 is successful then its earlier success would have offset the additional costs. cake and eat it, ducks on a pond, pigs that fly, damned if you do and damned if you don't and any other anecdotal references welcome. :)

Yep, cheers for that. It confirms rns accuracy, proactive can be forgiven, misdirected rns's are not acceptable.
I did say that we may be surprised at the results from the 'hole poking'. I like to idea that holes can be poked a couple of metres depth into the formation through the casing at targetted locations based on pnn logs. The drillling action I presume is less destructive to the rock structure ( just a guess tbh). Also assume that each hole is poked independantly, therefore the process is perhaps tad slower.
If i otial prod vs stabilised follows typical behavior, I guesstimate that it could settle at around 60-70. News on this will hopefully be forthcoming in next couple of weeks before the next 3 wells are poked in Feb.
I have borrowed the poked expression from little earn, it is something that I would probably have said myself during an eloquently written post.
Stop the selling today guys ffs. This was a great result and the set up at Rustavi looks professional too. Two sets of equipment, two mud pumps, hoppers, connecting pipe, storage, tool bits, etc blag de blah. Some other junior oilies should take note.

My last message was to ask if he could tweet some news relating to the 260 transport arrangements and maybe some pictures of it all leaving the factory and to give us some indication on the timing/negotiations on the rental rig. I didn't ask for or expect a direct reply with any information that may be considered as sensitive, I just asked that if he had the opportunity to let us know via twitter so as to keep up the interest. That was before I knew about the recent interview.
I have suggested things in the past that he has taken on board and responded to so I thought I would give it a go. I do suggest that he doesnt need to reply to me directly but he usually says something of a polite and courteous nature which is encouraging. We will no doubt get some pics from Italy during his visit.

I think that this tweet is in response to my direct conversation of two days ago. I asked for a tweet, maybe some pictures of the rig being packed etc. If so, then thanks Andrea. Most appreciated.

Feb/March for the gain at a guess. There was something in one of the rns's that gave me that thought but now I cant find which rns it was. When it comes and the price has an 8 or 9 at the front it will be worth the wait. At the mo, I am out again, made a little bit on the last rise, less than I could/should but owt is better then nowt. keeping a watchful eye--might be too late though if the 1 trade is heralding the deal news. we shall see.

Just read the Proactive note and they refer to 45 bbls/day as opposed to 45 bbls over 5 hours which puts a different perspective on it.

AJW Yes, that's the point I was making that the rate for 44 equates to a pro rata 200bbls a day which will not be production rates of course plus they will want to eak out as much as possible over time as opposed to crashing the well due to trying to produce it too hard. But even at 50bbls a day, that 250 is easily achievable if they replicate todays performance on all wells. The mention of traditional perforation was mentioned in the rns and has already been applied to well 39- my mistake, I thought it was a future well, however, the two methods can now be evaluated when compared against the pre intervention production figures for each well. will be interesting to find out whether the 2-3 times more successful as hoped, is proven to be a reality. Statistically it is not a valuable sample size though is it lol. To make a valued comparison the test would have to be run across several similar wells. Anyhow. I'm happy with the result so far, lets see what people think tomorrow after the news is digested.

So, we actually finished at 3.75, not as this site is showing. Any blue is acceptable to me, 1-2% each day would be good enough. 2-3% would be great. Keep it up Zen.

AJW. The result, if sustainable on just one producing zone in one well alone is fantastic. 200bbls a day at the rate published and only from one zone. OK, the initial burst is likely to drop by 50-70% which would give around 60-100bbls a day. I say again, one well and only one zone in that well. Folk have not picked up on it I'm sure. Still--opportunity knocks. 5 more wells to go, some conventional perf and some with the new toy. 250bbls looks easily achievable on the face of it.

Look like folk are disappointed with that result. 9bbls an hour and produced from one zone only. " more zones to have a go at and in one well alone.

"a ZJ40 drilling rig has been mobilised to the drill site. An initial workover has removed some old equipment from the wellbore, and a subsequent logging programme and pressure test has confirmed the wellbore condition is ready for the horizontal sidetrack operation. The target reservoir is at a depth of approximately 6,900 feet and is believed to have had an original oil column up to 600 feet thick".

Well cleaned out, debris removed, no drama and rig already mobilised. 6900 feet to drill, maybe a month to wait for results and in the meantime more improvements at Norio.
