"And also bopd. C-37 intends to go deeper to test Middle Eocene layer, where initial production could be around 700bopd, will be good to know if company has any expectation (conservative) of stabilized flow"
Don't forget that c37 is already into this layer and the initial deepening was to be for a few metres (20) to enter the zone further and then do a flow test. Dependant upon how this went, they were going to carry on into the upper cretaceous period i.e another 250 or so metres to see if it is full of oil, water or both. i.e. a 2 stage deepening process. TBH I am no longer clear on whether the first phase is still on the cards or whether they are just going to drill straight through into the upper cretaceous and then isolate and test the two zones and test each independently (I would go for that). So, the point I am making is that the Eocene still has potential on its own to give us a decent increase..my guess is 150-250bbls, and then the cretaceous has potential for further flows if there is any oil there and if it can be encouraged to enter the well of course. Collectively between the zones we may be in for an exceptional result. I am however not 'expecting' a massive result, just hoping they will get it done and any result at all will be a start :).
I take the 700bbls with a pinch of salt if it came from the Russians, but from an initial flow, often the stabilised flow is about one third of initial therefore if the 700 is anywhere near accurate then my guess at 150-250 is how I came about it. It is all total guesswork though and also on the assumption that they are successful with getting the well somewhere near original prod figures. Nice SP move again.
