The 'mud' is of course the mud manufactured by the mud supplier for drilling purposes, its not the 'mud' they are digging out of the hole. If the MUD was anything but good quality there would be a problem with the mix. too much barite or too much bentonite etc.

Folk also need to remember that there is more than one metric to consider. Mcap, shares in issue, share price. From the 4p+ times, there are one or two more shares in issue and the pot to share out the value to each share has become smaller = share price will remain at less than half the previous price until the mcap increases by 150% or thereabouts. Big ask at the moment.

Afrim. The Sp behaviour is typical of most (but not all) O& G or Mineral stocks where there is a long 'lead time' between spud and reaching TD. Some folk sell up to protect their cash and then time a re-entry a couple of weeks before anticipated T.D. Market makers fiddle with the Spread to create a market. some folk sell and trade elsewhere during the waiting period. These all put pressure on the SP that will rise again as TD is approached and then will again (often) retrace after the TD rns until there is some news on what has been discovered. Current advertised spread is likely giving a false indicator of the actual Bid/offer.

Was hoping for a little bit more of that momentum today in advance of the weekend, the lacketh thereof, tends to indicate that news is a little further away than say Monday at 07.00.

They went from around 40 new cases a day to over 600 and now they are around 300. Still too many but better than going in the other direction.

Yes they will need to raise more money, more drilling and proving resource, more siesmic--3D an at some point the liquefaction modules, maybe another 75m, I dunno . But with a 500k - 1bn mcap at that time, it won't really be a problem.

Newbee. Price isnt sinking is it. Start of drilling was not a surprise to the market and as posted last week I anticipated a small drop back. In fact, so far its done better than I had anticipated. The next bit of a catalyst will be the gas shown in the mud but don't be disappointed if it doenst move the SP by much either because it is also expected aka D.M. Next (maybe, more or less) news could be that the Co have categorised the well as a discovery which is authorised by the geologists. Needle on the SP moved a bit more. Wireline logs/coupled with the comparison from gas shows confirm 3 traps, needle moved a bit more, confirm that 3 zones are capped with a nice fat seal and all zones an be produced. Needle moves a lot. Repeat x 3 or maybe 4 if they decide to continue to the fourth hole and well, well, well, well, needle bent due to the effects of acceleration and mechanical energy.
