Looks like an upturned V shape formed in the rock, usually due to sideways pressure from the adjacent rock. Anticlines are usually the place to find OIl and Gas !. Or another analogy, think about a 'zit' on your chin, squeeze the hell out of it, nothing much happens but when you take your fingers away the zit has got bigger, the stuff trapped inside is the oil and gas, stick a needle in i and t will represent the drill bit--nice. Not entirely sure how anticlines are positive for Gold although I expect someone on here will know the answer to that.

They are still only guessing though and what you are saying is that there is evidence to support the decision for the exploration. The point I am making is that investing in fundamentals relies upon there being a financial history of selling something, developing a business over time and hopefully making and increasing profits. At the moment you are betting on the geological analysis to be correct coupled with the enthusiasm and hard work that the CEO has put in to get HE1 where it is today to make you a profit on your gamble--me too. You mentioned Mitchells and they have indeed taken a calculated risk, but think logically about it. They have secured a potential future payment by the allocation of stock based upon an agreed drilling cost per well at a share price at the time they made their offer, way below what it currently is, therefore if they took their payment now they would double what the drill cost would have been but there is a reasonable chance for them to make considerably more when they ultimately sell their allocated stock. They are taking a relatively small gamble and can no doubt afford it as they are a pretty impressive drilling specialist-yes I have looked them up, so just for the fun of it one day, the boss man decided to make the offer on the basis that he can afford it and enjoys a little wager. Don't forget the allocation of stock will result in dilution though, so it will cost you at some point. Just for you, and so that you may learn something, investing in 'the fundamentals' include giving consideration to;
Cash flow
Return on assets
Conservative gearing
History of profit retention for funding future growth
The soundness of capital management for the maximization of shareholder earnings and returns.
Historical evidence of growth and future growth potential.
None of which exist so don't kid yourself that you are investing in fundamentals, you are gambling on the affable Ceo being right and the seismic data pointing him to the right spot. You are then hoping that the faults and traps make a seal such that the drilling operation can enter a productive gas zone, have the ability to shut off or open up the trapped gas and ultimately get it to flow through the well head and production tree into a some sort of buffer tank before they liquidise it using a (probably) modular semi portable liquefaction plant and then pour the liquid into those bulk containers strapped to the back of a truck and sell it. Once they have all that going some time towards the end of 2023 and then keep doing it for a while and build up some history in doing it they will develop some fundamentals for anyone that finds them remotely interesting to analyse.

none of those are 'fundamentals' though, they are the ramblings of a geologist, hell bent on proving himself to be right and going at it flat out. I don't see any income, profit, sales contracts, optimisation of plant, so for now there are no fundamentals, just a belief that the man has a plan that will materialise positively. its all just an educated guess. :) Fork 'andles anyone?

If they manage to break ground in the next 7 days and, start circulating mud down the drill pipe, HE1 will report that they have trace of Helium being returned to the mud room, shaker house, whatever you wish to call it, everyone will wet their pants and the Sp will go up. If they then report more Helium a couple of days later, then it will confirm the need to wet one's pants and the Sp will go up. An interim quick update from Davy boy to tell the world that they have arrived at the conclusion that the well is a 'discovery' the SP will go up. Folk will start to realise that this is the real cahoonas of the Helium world and FOMO will drive the price up. Possibly, with all factors considered, the SP could reach £1. Any delay in breaking ground and no comment vis a vis Helium rising to surface after reaching the bottom of the planned hole then SP will drop like the proverbial until the next well and second bite of the Cherry. personally, I don't believe £1 to be likely for some time yet, but you never know anything is possible if you imagine it to be so.

Gosias The SP should be considered alongside the Market Cap. You cant just compare the SP, woohoo. The other stock also beginning with a Z is going through the honeymoon period a bit like Zen when it listed but it does however seem to actually get on and do what it says it will do. Recent 'deal' announced, negotiated and completed all in a couple of months with revenue coming in straight away and due to increase with additional completions. They spoke about drilling, planned the well, organised the rig, and are getting ready to start around July. Amazing, an explorer actually exploring.

Investverysmart. I would recommend giving consideration to the possibility that this loan may not be paid from income. It is a very short timeframe in which to expect production results from an intervention that is not yet even on the drawing board. The lender has secured his loan against a zillion shares that one of his mates has got stashed in a biscuit trough so that the loan can be paid in shares as and when either party agrees or if there is no cash to stump up the monthlys. Chances are that a proportion of the loan and maybe all of it will be repaid in stock, hence the dilution mentioned by Rocklawn. However, there is by all accounts a whole heap of oil in storage that came free of charge with one of the myriad tunisian deals and then there is the congo snpc repayment of several million and of course all the current income from the oil production so there is nothing to worry about.
