Schlumberger replaced with Baker Hughes--(sort of). Sounds like a sensible arrangement, they have the technology and competence to help Block to reduce error. 4p then soonish.

I'm not expecting anything to happen when they announce that drilling has started, it is more likely that the SP will drop back. It's not exactly going to be surprise to hear they have started and all of the anticipation has been built in. Personally think next catalyst is either a curved ball unexpected news or the first gas in mud tweet.

Theory. 4" hole remains as-is with plug for future access--maybe more logging, 3d seismic and then would probably end up being cement plugged when no longer required. 7" hole gets the production tubing run inside the liner and the topsides production tree sat on top of it. They will ( I think) complete further exploration at other targets before drilling a production well, so the concept of the bridge plug is so they can come back to it (or them) and run some further checks before horsing in with the production well drill. Even then they would have to shut it in until there is a processing plant to liquify it--as you know as I recall reading your research on potential systems. This I believe is why production has been hinted as by the end of 2023. If they get 4 for 4 on the appraisals with at least a sealed trap a one or more of the three target zones per well then it really would be game-on. First well will be the trickiest and as I may have already said, it's better to go for a Right First Time and take a bit longer than to rush it and have to do it twice i.e, not worried whether it spuds this weekend or next month.

Diadulus. Well its shaken back up again today--it was just aht after a day or two of positive action a 5% plus drop looked fairly serious by comparison to the typical trading range that occurs here. I'm not too worries as I am keeping these at least for the time being, there is--should be--plenty to come over the next ew months. You name is little bit like a musician named Diadula--Russian or Ukranian( cant recall) but whatever, I like his music.

Well, it looks like the herd stopped at the exit gate and saw their folly in time to prevent that pandemic thank goodness.

It may have been better to hang fire with the news at this stage and to update the market say at the end of the month to inform that they have secured a rig and a crew on a fixed sum and the inherited drilling equipment has been checked, measured and tested and is available a nil cost. An update or reason for not transporting the bd260 might have also gone down well, i.e. " we have decided not to utilise our own rig at this stage as we are making preparations to recommission it in advance of our anticipated work program in Congo". just sayin. To see some drilling activity will be a milestone for them and all of you guys that have stuck with it.

Get a grip, license will eventually arrive, eyes will be on mahenge and once it gets off the drawing board and into 'digging' mode the press will be all over it. FWIW, I would say that your strategy of investing as a PI is typical of most people and probably better then most that simply follow what another self appointed expert on a bb has said and just dive-in with no research at all. You are also right to read the meanings interlaced within the words of the rns's and rest assured that there is no CEO that is in his job for the benefit of the shareholders above his own interest and often what is said can have many interpretations. "process of finalising plans" is something of a bs phrase and could mean anything from thinking about starting to make some sort of plan right through to dotting the i's and crossing the t's and ready to go. In this case today, I read it as they have made a start but are no where near ready. Anyhow, there might just be some drilling done this year which is something to look forward to once they have a rig, a drill crew, some equipment, a plan for the well a date to spud, licenses or permissions needed or any other multitude of things.
