DAN is now delisted I understand that if you hold your shares within an ISA they will need to be moved to an ordinary trading account (HMRC rules) or transferred to paper certificate. Anyone in any doubt should contact their broker rather than ask on here as different brokers may have different rules. I have never held shares in an unlisted company before so will be a new experience if nothing else !
Ruga if you were a regular on the Blueshare Dan thread you would know that the discussion has been moved to a 'private area' which is only accessible to those who have proved they are genuine shareholders in the company. Anyone who falls into that category can go over to Blueshare and pm Steamy and ask to be admitted. I think there are 60 plus of us in the group currently.
Perhaps you could tweet QPE and ask them ?
Simple answer I don't know . I get the impression that the resignation of the Nomad was unexpected and sudden and the timing just before the Christmas break didn't help at all . I know QPE would like to see Dan off AIM from the tweets they have made but personally I would rather a new Nomad was found and they stayed on AIM (for purely selfish reasons)
I believe that they have until the 21st of this month to appoint a new Nomad . What concerns me the most is that my shares are held in an ISA and if Dan is delisted I will be forced under HMRC rules to remove these shares from my ISA into either a normal trading account or convert to paper certificate thus losing out financially both in the short term and long term if the shares subsequently turn a profit
I don't think anyone here no matter how experienced an investor can tell you what's going to happen with DAN at the moment. As long as they remain suspended there is nothing you can do other than wait and see what happens. They may find a new Nomad in time or they may choose to delist. You will remain a shareholder although your options will be more limited but you have lost nothing at the moment. You may have to bottom drawer these shares until the situation changes. Investing isn't easy or everyone would do it but if done well it can be very rewarding.
The appointment of a well respected chairman is not the actions of a company about to fold . Speculation is pointless whilst shares remain suspended but I remain hopeful that Peter Shea will get his company back on track one way or another.
What a load of old tosh ! If you are a shareholder now you will still be a shareholder even if they delist for whatever reason . You might be able to frighten inexperienced pi's with your nonsense but anyone with a modicum of knowledge will see right through your scaremongering
I see no purpose in unnecessary speculation either positive or negative at this time . I have e mailed Peter Shea and asked why the suspension is still ongoing . He replied quite promptly that it wouldn't be for much longer but couldn't go into the reasons why at this time due to regulatory obligations . I am happy to take him at his word at the present time . As for Rob Terry I don't believe he is anything other than an investor and has little if any influence over the running of this company .
Bond Street , if you had bothered to attend the EGM this morning you would be much better informed . But wait you would have to be a shareholder to do that wouldn't you .
