I've left a voicemail with AT, noting radio silence, hoping nothing's amiss and reminding that the 29 Sept RNS had promised a general update 'before the end of 2020' , apart from the more specific timetable subsequently suggested re the recostings exercise, latterly expected to be 'concluded' mid April.

The exercise - if now concluded - may still be subject to delay for review, but we could/should at least be informed whether concluded or not, which I can't see as being 'commercially sensitive'. And if the outcome were negative (which I'm not expecting, to be clear) there'd arguably be an even greater obligation to disclose.

If I don't hear back from AT, I may try contacting the Nomad.

I imagine that the thread(s) were deleted because somebody (not me) made the extraordinary suggestion that someone who had AZ's ear AND the trust of this board (Peakhope, perhaps ?) might venture to ask AZ to clarify the AGM shareholding issue...and maybe the IAF2 pledged loans status (repaid ?) , while at it .

This temerity counts as highly 'disruptive' , if you're of a sensitive disposition.

What the BOARD - AND investors, together - actually did (April 30) :

As announced in September, Jumelles Limited ("Jumelles"), the joint venture company between ZIOC and Glencore initiated the FS Cost Review process in order to ascertain the potential costs associated with the construction of the Zanaga Project's 12Mtpa Stage One Project in the current contractor pricing market. External engineering firms were engaged by Jumelles to complete this evaluation.

A further announcement will be made once the FS Cost Review has been completed.

So - hopefully - we're awaiting completion of the review.

You're the one speculating (and rather feebly, since the possibility you speculate would be RNSable).

I'm merely pointing out a discrepancy between what the BOD said it would be doing - in its recommendation for the AGM agenda - and what it actually did.

The Board said they would vote their 42 %...then someone didn't.

.."So the equivalent of c.£39,388,000, or c.5.8p per ORPH share, will be handed over to ORPH shareholders by way of the In Specie divi and/or used to effect a future buy back of ORPH shares..."

I think this interpretation is wrong, for a start.

It's the EXISTENCE of a positive balance that ALLOWS distributions to be made. Think of it as an approved overdraft facility.

To say that 5.8p (or equivalent) WILL be paid out is wrong, IMO.

The positive balance will hopefully increase over time - from real earnings, not accounting reclassification - and enable further distributions in future years.

That's about the only thing it's (reasonably) safe to say at this stage.
