I've got to say the article has been poorly written in any case because it clearly states the government has made the financial commitment.

I stand corrected, this is the amount of money HE1 have spent on the project to date.

If it is confirmed that the Tanzanian government is bringing $60 million to the table through Songe Helium in exchange for their 17% carry, which is perfectly feasible. This is huge...

HE1 could now be narrowing down a small number of companies to provide increased capital requirements and bulk/speed up the drilling campaign to achieve the 18 month road map to production. They would also keep the lions share in exchange for a small amount of songwe helium shares.

I agree, this would give Tanzy access to its own Helium resource down the line too. They could have their own industrial revolution. Plus HE1 will employ and train a local workforce rather than a major bringing in their own. This is of huge benefit to the Rukwa region. 👍

So its possible they've had a couple of take over offers and operation farm-out take overs.

Now they may have been given access to new Tanzanian finance and are looking for an operational farm-out partner to share the scale up. 🤔

Thinking out loud, does the appointment of PVE indicate that there are already strong negotiations between a number of partners and HE1 have had to arbitrage this across to a professional organisation. If so, this would be great news for HE1 to take a lionshare.

The rig HE1 are using is perfectly suited to the task at hand. It is industrial grade equipment that is compact, nimble, and easy to transport and mobilise.

Triplestar, during a Noble Helium AGM a couple of years ago, Noble had suggested that they would be hiring the Predator from HE1 and nothing came of it.

If the plan is become a producer in 18 months, you don't hire out your bottle neck to a local competitor, who don't respect the drill, for them to break it. 😉

I also get the impression, because of the efforts the BOD have put into the local Tanzanian economy and local communities. Tanzania want to retain the same BOD team members, the same team who have commited to employing the local communities.

Which makes me feel like a buy out may not be an option. In my minds eye, this was strengthen by the gifted BOD share scheme, locking them all in for three years. So, the JV consortium finances the scale out, and Helium One sit in the driving seat, with operational teams of expertise offering integrated support along the way.

If 18 months is the timeframe to production, then time is of the essence and news of the setup is imminent. ✨️

I think there is a massive hockey stick SP rerate due, its just a matter of when.

If I were Helium One, my next well drill would be in the most sweetest of sweet spots. Where the Karoo is slim and shallow. Who knows what Helium percentage that could be 15%+ maybe more without the Karoo dilution. I'd like to know more about the future plans, the higher the percentage goes up, the fewer wells they'll need.

The whole setup is feeling pretty good.

I've two points to add here.

Number One: Helium has become the true market leverage resource. China's strong competitive AI market position, pitched against the USA will wain if they can't import enough!

America now have the majority helium market but are short on rare earth minerals, of which China have the monopoly! Yesterdays negotiations for duty-free transfer may have been part of those negotiations, Helium was included in that transfer. Helium One and the Rukwa Rift Basin sit squarely in the middle and are of strategical global importance to our AI future. The companies/countries who own AI, will dominate the globe for the next 100 years.

Number Two: referring to the article yesterday, where three majors (Whales) Shell, Equinor and ExxonMobil were touting on a $42 Billion capital spend in Tanzania, which included Helium as an output resource.

Is this the signal of the companies involved in the JV consortium!

Question: Who else is producing Helium in Tanzania and who else has a legal mining licence to sell Helium?? Anyone? 🤔
