The spread is small because there is genuine volume going through and now there is a kind of benchmark price to trade off. As I said previously I would always encourage to take stocks to a level where they would trade.
Also as a mkt maker you are not allowed to take a turn as well as commission on a trade. The fact that the spread is so low means these are genuine no-risk orders being placed with a mkt-maker for which the mkt maker will just charge a commission

It’s a possibility but unlikely. Today was all about people trying to get in shape. Lanstead would have known that NNN needed to raise cash because NNN would have needed to approach them first. It’s fair game for Lanstead to sell. They are not front-running, they would just be protecting their own interests. And be mightily peed off btw. This may have sparked the selling by Lanstead back in mid- Dec. With that in mind, whichever mkt maker Lanstead uses will have been told to sell as much as they can at mkt levels. Lanstead couldn’t be seen to destroy the price as that possibly could be seen as front-running. The mkt maker, knowing there was a big seller would also get himself net short if possible. Quite where these placement shares have actually gone we
never know, but I suspect Lanstead would have bought at least some as the VWAP gets massively skewed when volume goes through at a certain price. The mkt maker would get himself flat today too. I suspect the broker had underwritten part of the deal so may have cheekily given a sell order out there today

Probably the same mkt- maker did both. Makes sense

The mkt maker has just been working 2 orders and is booking them out at the end of the day

The broker may have bought a chunk, Lanstead might have bought some having shorted some.
Who the hell knows. But the fact that the stock is trading at .19 tells you all you need to know. Those shares have already hit the mkt and mainly LTHs will now own them

The placement was done at a 30% discount, diluted the shareholders by a further 8%, and fooked the Lanstead agreement in terms of revenues. Those are the hard facts. I see nothing rosey there.
