Does make you wonder if the new president will also look into existing licences and if he would want to make changes to those also, which includes our Block 1101. As our block isn't part of the new licensing round. So there may be hope here.

If anyone speak or contacts Gun's CEO, it's worth asking him the question relating to this. Not worth dismissing it on the basis of an existing license so everything stands to what was agree at the time it was issued to Oyster. Any new president can alter that and state existing ongoing licenses are also affected.

The Madagascar licensing round was launched and ready to roll, but then one partner went missing. New president Andry Rajoelina, sworn into office in January, decided he wanted to have another look at a process drawn up under his predecessor and has suspended it until further notice.

A statement issued on behalf of Madagascar's state hydrocarbons firm Omnis on 15 February gave no indication of when, or if the process would resume. "Omnis in partnership with TGS and BGP, regret to inform you that following the decision from the newly elected government, the 2018/2019 Madagascar Licensing Round involving 44 blocks in the Morondava basin is suspended until further notification," it said.

If Rajoelina merely wants to double-check a deal approved by his predecessor Hery Rajaonarimampianina — who failed to make it past the first round of the recent elections — then the delay could be brief. However, if his government wants to revisit the terms of the licensing round — or revise the country's petroleum code, which dates to 1996 — then that could prolong the process considerably, regional observers say.

The bod inc D Swick had plenty of time / months to buy shares - so don't come out with that crap about if he buys soon, then they will delay releasing news - legally they should not delay any news pending a director buying shares - why didn't he buy any last Sept in the placing other than £15k worth -

he ran off ramping up saying he see's no reason why we can't be worth £50m, but never based it on any metric valuation - and never backed it up by buying a larger volume of shares - so he cleverly tried to ramp up the company

Hopefully they will only do a 20% max placing on their existing capital of 126m shs - approx. 25m placing shares - If they raise more than that, they will have to do a new Prospectus - then if they do, am pretty sure these will drop to 1p
