Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
It's playing out like I said back in May (when Trump issued an ultimatum to Bolton, according to independent reporters at the time).
The UN GA, from next week onwards, could be interesting...
https://en.irna.ir/news/83418325/Iran-UAE-vow-to-strengthen-diplomatic-border-ties
Iran and UAE met in this capacity for the first time in 6 years today.
There have also been other hints at thaws in tensions between Saudi and Iran, including the mention of non-aggression pacts.
The Western press are gradually catching up with what's going on between Trump and Iran too: https://www.cnbc.com/2019/07/26/there-are-surprising-signs-that-trumps-maximum-pressure-on-iran-could-lead-to-talks.html
Could all turn friendly quite quickly...
Tankers, drones, enrichment, drone attacks on Saudi airports, scaling back of nuclear commitments, etc. are Iran demonstrating some leverage, now that the US has pretty much exhausted its own leverage , imo. Very clever, because it makes US and UK look very foolish at the critical time (i.e. now, as negotiations begin properly by the looks of it). Very little chance of a war because UAE, Saudi and Israel have too much at stake. Imagine missiles in Dubai, explosions at Aramco facilities, Hizbollah attacking Israel, or proper attacks on shipping in the Persian gulf!
"On Friday, Trump confirmed he had authorized Paul to talk with Iran, although earlier on Wednesday he denied reports he had permitted the senator to serve as an emissary to Tehran.
Trump also said that he would join the negotiation process if other senators asked him to do so.
“Rand is a friend of mine, and Rand asked me if he could get involved. The answer is yes, and if the other senators ask me to get involved, I’d probably say yes depending on who they were,” Trump told reporters at the White House Friday. “I have many people involved, and Iran is going to work out very nicely.""
https://www.presstv.com/Detail/2019/07/19/601362/US-Iran-nuclear-talks-
Both Trump and Iran (via Zarif) have been talking about wanting a longer term nuclear deal this week...
It's pretty obvious that negotiations have been happening behind the scenes up to this point. I would not be at all surprised to see them announce a deal out of the blue in the next month or two. It seems to make more sense (for Iran) to agree to something 'privately' before officially meeting/shaking hands.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/jul/18/iran-nuclear-deal-trump-mohammad-javad-zarif-sanctions
How much was that Iranian deal worth again?
Since then Israel as a country was formed (after a war or two) and has gradually been taking over Palestinian land, including this recent video from last month where US Ambassador to Israel (Friedman), Sara Netanyahu, the US ambassador to the EU (Sondland) and Sheldon Adleson can be seen smashing walls to tunnels under Palestinian land:
https://twitter.com/BarakRavid/status/1145362268022067200
Imagine that was your land, or that your electricity and water was shut off whenever your state felt like it, or that your children were shot by sniper rifle fire for protesting against such things.
“The Irgun was a political predecessor to Israel's right-wing Herut (or "Freedom") party, which led to today's Likud party.[16] Likud has led or been part of most Israeli governments since 1977.”
***Netanyahu is the current leader of Likud Party***
I'm not saying I agree with everything Iran have done - and they are no angels themselves - but at least they are standing up against what the Israelis are doing to the Palestinians.
Anyway, I'm off out now. Have a good day :)
MTP, Some further reading:
Lehi: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lehi_(militant_group)
“(Lehi's) avowed aim was to evict the British authorities from Palestine by resort to force, allowing unrestricted immigration of Jews and the formation of a Jewish state, a "new totalitarian Hebrew republic".[15] It was initially called the National Military Organization in Israel,[1] upon being founded in August 1940, but was renamed Lehi one month later.[16] The group referred to its members as terrorists[17] and admitted to having used terrorist attacks.[18][19][20]
Lehi split from the Irgun militant group in 1940 in order to continue fighting the British during World War II. Lehi initially sought an alliance with Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany, offering to fight alongside them against the British in return for the transfer of all Jews from Nazi-occupied Europe to Palestine”
“During World War II, it declared that it would establish a Jewish state based upon "nationalist and totalitarian principles".
“After Stern's death in 1942, the new leadership of Lehi began to move it towards support for Joseph Stalin's Soviet Union.[1] In 1944, Lehi officially declared its support for National Bolshevism.”
-----------
Irgun: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irgun
“Two of the operations for which the Irgun is best known are the bombing of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem on 22 July 1946 and the Deir Yassin massacre, carried out together with Lehi on 9 April 1948.”
“Lehi and the Irgun were jointly responsible for the massacre in Deir Yassin. Lehi assassinated Lord Moyne, British Minister Resident in the Middle East, and made many other attacks on the British in Palestine.”
------------
i.e. they bombed the British HQ in Palestine and massacred a load of Arabs. They also helped with coups in a number of Arab countries. Several Israeli Prime Ministers were drawn from both Lehi and Irgun.
Remeber, the attacks by them agains us was all after we helped set up a “national home” for the Jews in what was Ottoman Palestine:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balfour_Declaration
“The declaration was contained in a letter dated 2nd November 1917 from the United Kingdom's Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour to Lord Rothschild, a leader of the British Jewish community, for transmission to the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and Ireland. The text of the declaration was published in the press on 9th November 1917.
Immediately following their declaration of war on the Ottoman Empire in November 1914, the British War Cabinet began to consider the future of Palestine; within two months a memorandum was circulated to the Cabinet by a Zionist Cabinet member, Herbert Samuel, proposing the support of Zionist ambitions in order to enlist the support of Jews in the wider war.”
Quite why we were so fussed about Palestine so soon in the war is surprising... This (apparently) helped get the US on our side in the first world war.
You also have to look at who funds and supports Trump and who they're working on behalf of. All roads point to Netanyahu and Israel.
They're even interfering in our democratic process and BBC: https://twitter.com/AsaWinstanley/status/1149275514777079808
People need to wake up ASAP imo.

Ghana is so much more than its capital. In Ashanti Region, the UK is delivering three major infrastructure projects.
Today’s regional #UKGBC forum in Kumasi is focussed on the future: with the Mayor, we are planning the next steps for @UKinGhana’s partnership in the region.

"For the first time, today we have a focus on Kumasi to make sure that as well as looking at partnerships from a country to country level, we are making it directly relevant in the major economic hub that is kumasi" - welcome remark from HC @walkeriain"
Thanks again, LEFKOSIA. I'm sure we all appreciate your work with asses.
Moving on...
So, the future share price "could" / "may" depend upon the news flow and peoples' perceptions of it ("However", "if", "but", etc.).
Thanks for clearing that up :)

As if anyone with MS would waste their time arguing on an anonymous chat board (you've already claimed that it's hard work for you to write posts). Surely you'd just do your thing and save the frustration!?
Also, if charts worked so well for you, I don't see why you would (repeatedly) need to share the knowledge, because then your supposed advantage would be lost: Nobody would buy because we'd all be waiting for the elusive reversal buy signals.
I am, though, pleased to see that your spacebar continues to work with 100% accuracy. That is a minor miracle.
As with a few other characters here, your persona seems way too contrived for me and I'm calling BS (not that you'll care, I'm sure).
Night! :)
MTP, is it 'good manners' to brag about making a profit here (presumably at the expense of others who read his/her posts)? Also, what are your thoughts on him/her *repeatedly* encouraging people to use leverage and gimmicks in a high risk market – just 'good manners' again? (Leverage, dubious financial advice and a volatile market – what could go wrong...) Is giving UKOG a pump here (after he/she's bought in(?)) also considered good form?
'You reap what you sow' is another 'old saying', and that's kind of my point. If you appear out of the blue, do each of the above, claim to have MS, but then post obvious inconsistencies in relation to that then you must expect to have your trustworthiness challenged. If that suddenly makes me 'nasty' then so be it!
Let's see if LEFKOSIA can explain the points raised – I was genuinely interested, as well as being suspicious. A friend of mine actually does have MS, so it's a touchy subject for me. If it transpires that LEFKOSIA is lying, I will not be impressed...
If they can explain, then I'll obviously apologise for any offence caused by me asking why he/she only corrects some errors, how the spacebar miraculously works every time, and how his/her auto-correct function only works on some words. It's peculiar! I won't, though, apologise for criticising the content of LEFKOSIA's posts and his/her bragging. Even if the disability is real, it does not give you a free pass to try and suck people into following your unsolicited financial advice.
I'll leave it there.
I think I've been pretty consistent in calling out folks who I think are 'suspicious' or don't make sense :)
I've actually not posted much since Iran became headline news (a while before the AGM) because I didn't (and still don't) have much to add to what I've said previously: There's a lot of rhetoric recently but I still don't think there will be a 'war' (it's all part of 'maximum pressure' and leveraging from both sides imo) - nobody wants a fight. UAE are saying today that they're not convinced that Iran did the tanker job, for example. Iran must feel like they need a strong hand for when they do enter into negotiations (and recent visits indicate that they probably do now want to talk).
I did make a few trades recently, but I didn't brag about it (unlike our T-Line friend) ;)
Plenty of new bits to research, so I've also been getting stuck into that... :)
I think it's worth asking about explanations that don't make any sense. He/she could well be lying about the MS for all I/we know. I'm sure Toshlines will agree that you shouldn't trust anyone who posts on these boards ("I’ve had it confirmed to me it is Oman on a few occasions now" & "It is 100% Oman”) ;)
Also, you must surely expect some level of suspicion to be raised against you if you show up, bragging about profits and trying to entice people to use a suspect trading technique - on leverage(!) - all whilst your posts appear to contain inconsistencies!
Ah, so you do correct every single number - even the unimportant ones - but not words. OK.
Do you also correct spaces and exclamation points?
Also, why did 'bit' seem to auto-correct to 'PITA' in your previous posts, whereas other words didn't?
Sorry, I am curious!
LEFKOSIA, I notice that you manage to type numbers correctly – every time – even when they're not important.
Correcting significant figures I could understand, but your 100% accuracy with even incidental numbers seems a bit 'odd' in amongst the all of those errors with letters...
I don't like to quote nameless officials but, in relation to Novice's post at 08.52am:
A "Senior European official" was quoted in Bourse & Bazaar today as saying that "INSTEX, will become operational this month".
A potential smart move by the Trump administration would be to help facilitate non-sanctioned trade through this mechanism (but out of the public eye), in order to build some trust with the Iranian leadership. He may then get his photo op. I suggested this a while back but Trump doesn't seem to do simple! We'll see...
