To the AMC Management Team
Dear Sirs,
I have been an investor in AMC since 2008 and currently hold 600,000 + shares.
I have never commented on the management team’s performance, in all this time, as I consider, generally speaking, that you are the experts in your field of business and as a shareholder I would like you to concentrate on the business in hand, rather than being distracted by “shareholder concerns”.
I still think, AMC has fantastic upside potential, however fail to understand the seeming lack of meaningful progress.
As of 16.25 GMT, I would like to raise my concerns with regards to the current performance of AMC this year to date, which as far as SP is concerned, has been dismal in any which way you might like to look at it.
With the above in mind, I am not going to repeat the various shortcomings in terms of progress/lack of communication as highlighted many times by my fellow shareholders on this board.
The bottom line is very simple, the management team have not provided shareholder value and I feel it is time for the team to consider the implications of the current situation.
In the past, shareholders have highlighted a seeming lack of trust/engagement by the management team to take meaningful positions in terms of shareholding in the company – and please, I would prefer if you did not cite closed periods in case you were to respond, which given past performance, I would consider highly unlikely.
Now, it would seem to me, given that the company is currently in need of additional funding, would be an excellent opportunity to re-assure shareholders by increasing personal exposure to the future fortunes of the company.
Any members of the management team, all the way to the top, excluding TB, might consider that now would be a suitable time to “buy in”, or seriously consider employment opportunities elaewhere.
By no means would I want to diminish past successes, indeed extremely well done, however, we are now in a different environment as far as skill sets are concerned and clearly some change is required.
I will apologise profusely, if I have miss-judged the situation and AMC pull a rabbit out of the hat prior to Christmas.
The commitment of TB has been extremely welcome from my perspective as a shareholder; however the lack of anyone else to commit to the same degree raises additional, uncomfortable questions in my mind.
Looking forward to a response.
