I was thinking in terms of 15% of in ground value, which explains why I ended up in a rather more optimistic place...……..

I have run some basic numbers following your model.........and even at 50%f of your "possibly top end valuation" - this comes back at a rate of return I would be VERY happy to accept as a LTH (hope I have not made an error with a decimal point here or there :-) - don't think so actually.

My question therfore is: Why can the market not see this ?
Happy to wait and see, something will have to give at some point.

Not so sure about the " small fry " if you look at the share register, how AMC got to where they are - and may just require us for a little longer.
In line with everyone else I would love to see the " key players" materialise - sooner rather than later - and they will.

Should have added earlier that in IMO that is exactly what facilitates discussions about issues that may or may not happen. If there was a history of delivering on time and as communicated, a lot of doubt would probably never enter the conversation.
Over to AH to rectify this going forward.

Reputations are slow and hard to build and fast to loose.

Whatever the facts on the ground - communication has never been AMC's strong suit.
They have been getting a regular ripping for that over the years, yet still don't learn......it should not be too difficult to proactively communicate with shareholders and then follow through.
Yes, things sometimes might not go to plan, I think most of us can appreciate that, however perception is everything and AMC have a credibility issue on that point.

Looking at the way forward, and purely from a perspective of human nature now, the BoD, whilst having quite a reasonable amount of shares here, would surely want a return per share as high as possible, to ensure the kind of retirement fund we would all like to see?
As pointed out, they have been at this for 15 years and no-one is getting any younger.

Going by past experience, predicting future performance of AMC is probably not a good measure to apply.
However, my comment was partly in jest.

Then again I have plenty of time to see this through.

Thank you for your post.

A reduction from 19% to 13.43% seems quite a big percentage, to me, rather than a small one, however it will be interesting to see how in terms of expediating production this will play out.
No current shareholder of AMC could possibly complain if it worked out to our advantage - time will tell.

Despite my occassional misgivings with the board, in this instance, it is not the BoD that concerns me as you know, it's the fickle shorttermist shareholders that could potentially ruin an excellent opportunity, that are of concern.
Let's hope there are not too many of those and as this morning proves a few seem already running for the hills - good!etank

Given that Adam comes across as a very sleek operator, he should have considered that this will not go down well.

Well we are back to perception.........some of the BoD might consider working on that.
