3.14 C19 is no flue, it is far more dangerous, it is proving the ability to adapt to current vaccination regime, this is going to be an ongoing battle for sometime to come. People need to realise that.

2017/18 not 28, fat fingers!

JEZZAC, cast your mind back to 2017/28, we had interest from customers well in excess of 10k tonnes per month for washed coal, double shifts, night lighting unfortunately mudstone had zero value, hence the cash flow problems.
We are now in a position to fill what orders that we get with actual coal. I think this week could be decisive in EDL's fortunes. 5 days to go. 3.5 if Aerial's prediction is correct.

A cynical but most likely a correct view of EDL.
I'm expecting a substantial update before the AGM.
They have the weather, cash, labour force and prospective orders in their favour. With the current investors on board and the talk of acquisitions, they must have a good level of confidence in the necessary income, so looking forward to what transpires in the next 5 days and beyond.
One thing for sure the trades this week will be an indication of how the market views EDL's future.
Aerial, I imagine a few long term holders will be keeping an eye on their averages, it's been a longer haul than expected, what's another year or two?

Upendo, had been in talks with EDL since about 2011. Between then and before 2018 I seem to remember EDL passing a comment in one of the news releases that they'd been advising another company on mining, no mention of who that company was.
In Jan. 2018 Upendo in partnership with EDL were in the process of clearing the overburden at Namwele with the expectation of producing coal by the end of that quarter. Since then there has been no mention of coal production from Namwele. The next time Upendo was mentioned was the intention to sue EDL for non payment of fees and as far as I'm aware silence since.

So next week for news, which, should open the way to a bit more interest???

We have a week from tomorrow for news before the AGM, the way it is going the last minute seems to be the favourite target.

Coal not EDL'S future, it has always been EDL'S future, until we are told different.
We have s large resource plus an even larger expanded licence area and what would now appear to be (as originally planned) a power generator to supply.
Our income will be the sale of coal until that changes.

£2m to buy into a REM won't get you across the doorstep.

There's little point in arguing until we know what the results of EDL'S sales efforts are, another week from tomorrow we should know.

I find it strange that there has been no mention of Namele, we know Muze was dumped which reduces our 173m tonnes a bit.
The 3k tonnes pm could take some by surprise.

T72, you are correct in querying those particular points, as I don't think there has been anybody questioning what is meant by those statements, hopefully we will have more understanding in the close of next week.
What has changed for ILTL or EDL to make EDL issue such a statement. It does give the impression that either party could change their minds or condition/s of the agreement.
