One MM on the bid at 60p already so looks like we will gap up on open. Personally, I’m not sure expecting a company specific mention or deal today but I would be delighted to be wrong.

Yes the 7th July RNS suggested we would have magnet production by the end of Q3, but I hadn’t seen any confirmation of this until now. Here’s the RNS excerpt:

“Following the commissioning of the Plant's downstream powder processing plant (for HPMS powder sieving, blending and jet milling), magnet manufacturing presses and sintering furnaces, targeted by the end of Q3 2025, HyProMag will have access to capacity for production of value-added magnets at scale - enabling both customer qualification and commercial sales of rare earth magnets, which will form an increasing proportion of the NdFeB product mix going forward.

At present, the accelerated pilot programme at the UoB is providing NdFeB powder, block and finished magnet samples to customers, to support product marketing, offtake discussions and scale-up of planned operations in the UK, Germany and the United States as announced previously.”

Tiger, the magnets being referred to in that bulletin were produced at the UoB’s pilot plant, not the new Tyseley plant. Those were the ones that have been tested by ZF and GKN. Confirmation of finished NdFeB magnets being produced at the new Tyseley plant is certainly news to me, but again I may have missed an announcement / communication on this as have been on holiday this week.

SG, are you referring to an end trade on the TSX-V or here? We didn’t get a UT here today as far as I can see and there was a 40k trade at 59p posted at 5.07pm. Can’t see any 57.5p trade.

Mkango is up 43% on the OTC (over the counter) market in the US. Very thinly traded, so not saying it’s relevant, but obviously someone in the US is very interested.

Still in auction, we must now be on our second extension to the end of day auction.

Doing my daily check in around close. What a crazy week to be away. The share is whipsawing on no company specific news like never before and it feels like there is either manipulation involved (not suggesting this is anything to do with anyone on this BB) or that we have now attracted our fair share of attention from the speculative trading community (much like USAR), and volatility has just become part of our everyday.

This share is not for the faint-hearted, but I think the vast majority of holders on here can see the wood for the trees and are able to take advantage of the opportunities that this volatility is providing. I’d just caution that we shouldn’t build up the idea that we will get a specific mention coming out of the G7 conference. We’ve been there before with other deadlines or predictions that haven’t materialised (remember the end of August DoW one…). If something comes out of announcement tomorrow then fantastic, but I’m not getting ahead of myself on this.

Checked in towards close and only got one of my top ups in at 51p, with the others going to NT for the last five minutes into close. Certainly tells you something, I agree with CodeJunkie.

Funny how quickly sentiment can change / has changed, when nothing has changed in actuality. Glad I’ve been away and not getting too involved in the back and forth. Anyone can post on here of course, but some of the Jonny come lately position posters lecturing people on this share and claiming to speak with authority and in peoples’ interests make me laugh. Gone are the days when I’m going to bother debating them or calling them out, life is too short. I’m sure old Peter is either one of them or reading the BB and smiling.

Continue to be extremely confident here and will continue buying more if these levels persist. All the best to the bulls, bears, rampers, de-rampers, LTH’s, newbies, contributors, observers, at the end of the day we are all here to make money, and I have little doubt that we will.

Have reached the bleak and beautiful Northwest coast of Ireland, a environment that is good for the soul. Just checking into see the closing price and glad to see the blue finish.

Shareinthis, my comment was about the next six (or seven) weeks in the run up to Christmas where we have potential news on multiple fronts. I’ve already stated previously that if we don’t hear about the SPAC date this week or next a pre-Christmas listing is unlikely. Even without the SPAC I am expecting three or four major news items at a minimum.

Having read through the last day’s worth of posts it’s all a bit depressing. I have my own views but don’t think it’s worth me adding any more fuel to the embers so all I’ll say is that I hope we can return to the positive and extremely useful board that we have enjoyed for a long time now.

At the airplane about to set off. I see a lot of panic, which based on ytrew’s post seems unfounded. People need to chill, the company are clearly not worried by this and I don’t think we should be either. Another chance for a lower purchase.

Exactly velcro, this is about buying time on both sides, and they will be looking to use that time wisely. I don't think many on here were fooled. The selling volume wasn't large and I'm sure many, like me, have taken advantage of the pullback. Currently 60p bid / 62p ask.

We got down to 58.5p mid and have bounced back up to 60.5p mid, will be interesting to see how the rest of the day plays out.

Imo it doesn’t change anything in practical terms from Mkango’s point of view as the genie is already out of the bottle and the wheels are in motion. The DoW will still be looking to do deals as quickly as possible and reduce reliance on Chinese supply chains to little or none. The volume of selling is minimal in comparison to Friday’s volume but yes there was always a good chance that MM’s would take advantage and drop the SP quite far as a result of that selling pressure. I have topped up as I don’t think this changes anything other than potential short term RE sentiment.

They’ve dropped her 9% on 260k volume (we traded over 6m on Friday…), a fair bit of which is buying. I’ll let people judge for themselves whether that makes sense.

Feels like the drop is highly overdone based on the trades so far. Let’s see how the rest of the day goes.

As interesting that a few of the MM’s have moved down their NMS to 30k from 50k today. Remember, due to the UT we will appear to open slightly lower.
