Has there been any news? Haven't seen anything on the MSM yet.

A combination of some large delated reported trades and taking advantage of a bit of panic in the markets. Rare earth stocks down due to specific news (MP down 12%, USAR 16%), Nasdaq down 2.5%, Bitcoin down over 5%, Gold down nearly 6%. Markets spooked so not many bidders about and they are taking advantage.

Yes that is not new news, they've had serious budgetary and inflation problems for years now.

I've just bought myself some Britts, 10% lower than they were this morning. This is the time for calm and conviction. The flash crash doesn't change anything, it just prolongs the bull market.

Look at what's going on with Gold and Silver this afternoon. Crazy. But I'm feeling very relaxed and buying the dips. We are in a commodity super-cycle, and we will benefit massively.

It's nothing to do with yesterday's Canadian closing price or 60p resistance imo. It's to do with the Reuters article that came out later that evening and the associated change in short term RE company sentiment. We crossed 60p resistance and would have stayed above there imo and gone higher, but for that article / removal of price floor prospects.

Looks like they've picked this afternoon for the crash on Gold and Silver. I will be waiting until the Gold and Silver prices settle and then loading up on miners.

Looking like my heroic blue finish call was way off mark. At least I got to top up in the 58's though. USAR having a bad day, but is still 50% higher than it was a few weeks back. Hopefully this is just a short term hit to general RE sentiment. When neodymium is going parabolic it should be. As mentioned already, while it has impacted short term RE sentiment, I think long term this is positive for us and will give our domination of the US market a much higher probability.

Now they've just printed a 60k sell live, without any delay. Who was it that said MM's played with a straight bat...?

Jimzi, just noting that the 50k buy from 10.08am was delayed reported by two hours, whereas the 50k and 2 x 30k sells from 10am were only delayed reported by 10 minutes. Tells you all you need to know about the tactics...

I wouldn't get too fixated on the auctions. The 9am and 11am ones passed without note. I'll let you know if there is any big money hanging around on either side, as there was last week with the 100k bidder.

Looks like it wants to move up again. Hopefully this was just a temporary blip.

Don’t had funds free right now, but if it’s still here after US market open I’ll move some miner profits in here. People ignoring the 6% increase in Neodymium prices.

Down on a combination of MM’s trying to panic people into selling and a number of punters not understanding what they own and being spooked by the removal of a US price floor prospect, which we did not need. This news is good for us, and bad for some of our competition.

I see the MM’s are planning to start us a bit lower, buying op imo. Neodymium prices are the much more important story for us here, and they are blowing the lights out.

Haven’t read the updated article but if congress is questioning the legality of it / authority of DoW to enter the price floor agreement then I’d assume the MP deal is still at risk.
