Matt Warder GM Rare Earth Traders! Rare earth prices continue to firm across both the light and heavy complexes, with the NdPr magnet chain still leading the move. Most NdPr benchmarks are now up sharply over the past three months and are roughly doubled year over year. The strength isn’t isolated to oxide — metals and magnet pricing are participating as well. This remains a broad value-chain rally rather than a narrow, single-product squeeze. Heavy rare earths continue to reinforce the structural tightness theme. Dysprosium and terbium have maintained strong multi-month momentum, which matters because these are the true bottleneck materials in high-coercivity magnets. When heavies stay bid alongside NdPr, it suggests this is not speculative froth, but rather reflects real supply chain constraint and persistent separation tightness.

Good to see the pricing of magnets is keeping pace with the increases in neodymium price.

Just the usual shake out of the gold and silver price just before US stock markets open, been a bit of a repeating pattern recently. Recovery seems to come soon after. Nothing to worry about.

Nice to see a bit of upwards momentum in the SP and Berenberg back bidding hard for shares. They haven’t been for a long time, but they were often the driver during our big rise last year.

Sitting on the train on the way up to Edinburgh just contemplating what would happen, if in two and a half months time, or less, we all found out that the PIPE financing valued Mkango’s share of MKAR at $1bn?

My first reaction might be to remortgage my house, and pile in before the market cottoned on. But joking aside, that kind of valuation isn’t outside the realms of possibility given the developments since the $400m indicative valuation last July. I have no idea what would happen on such a day, but I’m bloody excited to find out.

For starters, haha. Wonder whether we would fit within the remit of Sprott’s critical minerals ETF? We really should given that we are a play on three different critical commodities (if you group rare earths into one).

The neodymium price is up over 100% since the BCA valuation, our projects have secured more US and EU support and rare earths have become an even hotter topic. In my eyes it would be pretty inconceivable for our share of MKAR to still be valued at $400m. We’ve got to be talking at least $600-800m and potentially more.

The silent re-rate. I love it when this happens. Usually means a big player(s) / institution(s) is taking a position. No hype, no ramping, no BB chatter, just a steady increase in the price into a new range. Didn’t get as many top ups in the 30’s as I would have liked, but not complaining and would now find it hard to see us going back to there.

Come on mate, get real… were you really trying to insinuate that the 250k could be a sell? Maybe check the trades and then post, rather than write a post questioning this and then answering it straight after. You could have saved us all the FUD, but I guess that’s just your game…

Can’t pretend to have any clue why we are down here with rare earth prices where they are and recent company developments, but someone bought 250k post close yesterday and said thank you very much…

Good to see that the data I got from Benchmark last Friday accurately predicted the catch up rise we got in Neodymium price when Chinese trading resumed today.

Very excited for the next few months here.

Charles Archer is the only one of the Sunday Roast crew that is worth his salt. The other two are pretty amateur in my opinion. They put me onto Sovereign over a year ago at 30p, so I am grateful for that, but yes always follow up on the claims yourself and do your own research.

Based on Rio's change of strategic focus I don't see a high chance of them being the eventual buyer, but I have little doubt we get bought out by a major. Sitting on a world class titanium, graphite and heavy rare earth resource, with World Bank and US government support, means that this mine is getting built, and anyone with enough patience will make serious money here.

This isn't new news though, this relates to the grant we got back in September:

LONDON / VANCOUVER: 29 September 2025 - Mkango Resources Ltd (AIM/TSX-V: MKA) ("Mkango" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that its indirect wholly owned subsidiary, Lancaster Exploration Limited ("MKAR," to be renamed Mkango Rare Earths Limited) has entered into a Project Development Funding Agreement (the "Agreement") with the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (the "DFC"), the U.S. government's development finance institution, to secure US$ 4.6 million in reimbursable funding ("Project Development Funding") as part of the DFC's Project Development strategy for the Songwe Hill rare earth project in Malawi ("Songwe Hill" or the "Project").

While I think Friday's DFC approvals news most likely includes further funding / financing for us, I don't think Floyd's link confirms this in any way.

But.. but.. but, I thought the charts said we were definitely heading to 40p…?

The tariff revenue cheques that they are planning to send out should look interesting...

Agree, the Project Vault commodity traders would be mad not to be in discussions with Hypromag USA and potentially also MKAR. We should find out whether we're barking up the right tree soon enough.

Someone has been selling in the last couple of weeks, no idea why given what the next few months should have in store, but everyone will have their own reasons. Two top ups from me in the 49's with profits from elsewhere, so I'm not complaining.

Think the tariffs being struck down may be a net positive for us. The rare earth magnet tariffs are through a different mechanism, so should be unaffected. The removal of the general tariffs may be a boost for the stock market and could mean a better environment for our Nasdaq listing than might otherwise be the case.

Led to a temporary blip in Gold, Silver and the miners but all look to be recovering well now.

Yeh, saw the Phoenix equity raise news over on the SVML board because of the Traxys connection. There's still big money about for Rare Earth's companies in the US. All very encouraging for the next few months here.

Whopping 450k trade from post close yesterday, plus a 100k just before close. 100k looks like a buy. Not sure about the 450k, could be worked sell, though was above the closing mid price.
