What have we had? One stating that the cash and mcap are similar. Really?

Many who have failed to analyse the marketing spend v customers acquired metric. As in marketing spend to date v customers acquired to date.

Some who believe that using Trustpilot as a metric KPI for customer satisfaction as being an adequate measure of performance. Really? When the data is only being claimed and not collected and there is a higher percentage of non verified reviews than there are verified. When there were how many reviews for the month of October?

Some that believe that 300 or even 400 new customers a month is adequate after nearly 30 months of trading, when the initial amount earmarked for marketing, based on the "typical" quoted cost of acquiring, implied the goal was circa 1,000 customers a month.

Many who really cannot grasp just how far away any hope of breakeven is ... if ever.

Somebody thinking they can teach Todster how to suck eggs ... Hilarious, when one considers just how many years he has successfully operated in this sector.

Those who believe the bearish views/opinions being posted are something to do with wanting to "get in" lower ... Even more hilarious.

Trade away, nothing wrong with that, but don't try convincing others that this is anything other than what it actually is, based on all facts since IPO to date - a loss making enterprise that has failed on many counts of the business strategy deployed.

So really you can use what abbreviations you deem fit, or choose to use, to create a bit of blurry stuff when it comes to applying the marketing spend to the number of customers, as the facts (numbers) speak for themselves.

good morning, I believe you were referring to the September placing in your last post. Typical, was I believe, an assumption, as the anticipated marketing spend was £1.05m at IPO not the £1.08m that I mentioned.

The assumption based on the anticipated would then equate to a plan to acquire circa 1000 c/m's per month consistently over 24 moths to achieve somewhere near breakeven in an acceptable time frame. (2 years)

If the assumption that was expressed as typical remains part of a plan then they are working to the top end of the £40 - £90 range as an actual cost of acquiring a c/m. Thing is, the actuals to 31st March 2018 demonstrate that the assumption never became reality. Assumptions not being reasonable is setting yourself up for failure. Given that there were no actuals from which to make budget projections then the research or data used in the assumptions was evidently lacking.

I think you will find I have used an APU of £40 in my projection as the £90 that the CEO is happy to pay is way off the mark in the race to survive. The CEO quoted the figure as typical, that would imply "yesterday" is very relevant.
