my rec button is up and working again, however I have yet to receive a response to my email from LSE - unusual ,as historically in relation to tech/beta site etc. emails a response has been forthcoming within 48 hours ... is it a tech issue or? Heaven help us if it is the alternative, naughty step stuff. Furthermore, if marxian economics and advocating for communism is allowed - and it can be dressed up any which way Love_You likes - then in a world of free speech, so is everything else.

Payments on Account: it reads to me that they have adopted an applications process. WSG apply for the sum to which they believe that they are entitled - for works executed - the client agrees/disagrees to pay the application amount in full or in part, a sum is paid - whether the full application amount or part thereof and upon receipt of the payment WSG would raise the Sales/Tax invoice for the exact amount. Entered as a sale onto the books once the monies are received and the sales invoice has been raised, so any sales tax only becomes due/payable to the authorities at the point of receiving the payment. For works executed/services carried out where the application has not been raised or the application has not been fully agreed and the payment not yet received or sales invoice not raised, then it remain "work in progress" for which no sales tax would be payable.
