We are not at Christmas yet. Why was there such a rush to get this raise done, something is going on the we do not yet know about. With a 30% discount, whatever it is, it’s not going to be good news.
My guess is we will know what it is before xmas, that’s going to feel great, not.

I agree we had great potential, this feels like too many mistakes have been made. Too many poor decisions, with no good decisions.

Let’s be clear if a company issues equity at a 30% discount with 10% cost. Then they are struggling, “no ifs no buts.”

Oh and by the way the SM company is a subsidiary of sound energy. Therefore if SM does not cover the 28.8 million then they go to the parent company.

The question who, spending 1.5 million to get the SP to drop by 30% is pretty cheap, if you want this to be the nail in the coffin.

I am not one for conspiracy theories, but the raise today made absolutely no business sense. They have 5.4 million in the bank. Soon that will be the market cap.

But they need to pay the interest to maintain the going concern status.

If the deal fails, now looking likely, this will be perfect timing for the full year accounts to declare that they can no longer be defined as a going concern. Therefore they will be forced into insolvency by the bond holder (Marco).

I know I am right on that. I have wrongly defended the BOD as I believe in the asset. But their actions today can not be explained, without believing they have very negative plans in place.

I am holding a fair chunk here and have for many years. More fool me. This is the final straw. There is no way back from this. if you thought JP was bad, I think Marco is going to be a lot worse.

The reason no one saw it coming is they do not need the cash, so why raise at such a pathetic price.

This is Marco saying he has zero concerns about the SP, why, maybe because he knows it is going to zero.

Marco new exactly what this placing would do to the SP. it was a premeditated move.

You have to ask the question why? Why such a small amount, why such a discount, why now

All of these questions make you think they want the ability of sound to raise capital to be crushed.

If sound cannot pay the coupon on the bond, Then Marco gets the whole company for the price of the debt. Am I wrong on this?

The interest has nothing to do with the dead deal. It’s an interest in taking a big chunk of share at a 30% discount.
