Shell and repsol

Repsol and Shell signed a deal with the National Bureau of Hydrocarbons to explore Morocco’s hydrocarbon potential. The oil companies will start in an area known as Tanfit, located near the border with Algeria.

Initially, Repsol will be the project operator. The Spanish oil company holds a 37.5 percent stake in this project, while Shell holds another 37.5 percent and the ONHYM holds the remaining 25 percent. Repsol has develpoped operations in Morocco since 2010. So far, it has carried out upstream activities and developed a lubricant business.

On December 17, 2019, in Rabat (Kingdom of Morocco), a Memorandum of Cooperation between Transneft and the National Agency for Hydrocarbons and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Morocco (ONHYM) was signed. The document is aimed at developing cooperation in the field of hydrocarbon transportation and maintenance of the corresponding infrastructure.

The agreement was signed by Transneft Vice President Mikhail Margelov and ONHYM CEO Amina Benhadra. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Energy, Mines and Environmental Protection of the Kingdom of Morocco, Aziz Rabbah.

The potential deal valued the SP at 17p (that’s now 15.5p after the placing). What was the valuation of the other deals. I would imagine that there are whole lot of PI would take 10 p and throw Sidi in for free. I know I would.

The market does get it wrong but not this much.

If this deal fails we are in the poo. The market thinks the deal is dead. The BOD are doing nothing to change this perception. They are treating PI with contempt.

If sound could just give us a credible reason for the raise it would steady the ship. The inconvenient Truth maybe the was no credible reason. The SP will just drift until we get some sort of confidence back.

Why would they need to shore up the balance further as they get towards the end of the period. If the deal was going to happen they would be getting 26 million, but it looks like it is not going to happen. In a few weeks we may be think wasn’t Marco clever raising at 2p. Just in the way we now think they were clever raising 2.4 million at 10p recently.

Let’s wait and see.....

That is a load of rubbish, unless they know the deal is dead in the water.

The deal is due 14th feb. Does anybody seriously think that the markets are going clam up so tight between now and then that companies won’t be able to raise a poxy 1.35 million. Total and utter rubbish. If you believe that, then god help you.
