I don’t suppose we could start preparing the environmental application before we’d secured the concession, so it doesn’t coincide with what you say about Kurt shovelling those funds into Kosovo. Had he done so after the concession award then yes, I’d agree he could have perhaps used the cash to fast track the environmental application. Ulla has experience of the permitting processes though, so there is more to it obviously than now just filling in the application, some of which is mentioned today.

I’m not sure why it will take until Q4 Lb, but there must be a reason why it isn’t Q3, for example. I don’t suppose the Sami appeal against the concession also has anything to do with it, but again, I don’t know. So if I don’t know why, I can’t say the application should be in sooner. We also want it to be airtight.

I’m not happy, but as I said yesterday, trying to keep an open mind.

Ok Pocko. Yes, it isn’t last chance saloon, and if the next fundraise isn’t at a higher sp, then it will say much. Confirm what you are saying actually. The Government took the wind out of our sails though, so I would say this is a big year for us now we don’t have that constraint and we’ve also had the change of personnel. If the work planned doesn’t shift the sp, or the RNS translate to adding value via the sp, let’s say, then Kurt will have run his course for many more of us, if there are no legitimate reasons he can give for another poorly performing year.

But, being optimistic, I’m looking at a busy year here for us with the work plan and trusting it will translate to better days ahead for shareholders.

I absolutely agree with you that woolly RNS news should continue to be unpicked. I’ll do the same, but also give merit where it’s due.

I haven’t made any money from BEM yet, because I’ve not traded my shares, but I’m trusting still in a positive outcome. I will consider trading some now though, in view of how this has gone so far, but I’ll be keeping involved until 2026.

Pocko, I’m not trying to unpick your arguments, I agree with much of what you say, and the sp doesn’t lie. We know progress has been slow since the concession award, things weren’t in place immediately ready for us to go. Including the funding raised at a higher price. However, since the concession we do now have a change of personnel, and both newcomers appear to be pushing the business forward. I was actually only trying to help you overcome how you are currently feeling about what we are witnessing, by talking again with the person who knows more than we do. Budgie.

If you don’t feel it is appropriate, especially now, or a waste of time, then that’s up to you. Your frustrations will possibly become more acute.

Let me ask you then, are you going to stay invested, and why?

Pocko, speaking with Kurt previously is not speaking with him now though, is it? You are feeling worse than ever before about this investment it seems, so it would be perhaps prudent to get in touch with him again and voice your concerns. At least you will have vented again and also gained more insight into matters from his point of view, including perhaps his reasons as to why. Which is what you don’t have at the moment.

Up to you of course. If you get in touch and are still what appears to be furious following a talk with Kurt, then fair enough.

Or you could just keep bashing your investment down and down without trying to get to the bottom of things.

Good points SJ. Yep, and yep. Kosovo project is proving very expensive to date, with money we could have saved or used for Kal. Vardar needs to deliver something this year, in my view. You are right, no point in referencing Stan Terg if we are standing in a field of potatoes. Lol.

Pocko, I do recommend contacting Kurt and offering your views on what you feel is lacking.

Hasty, that may be a fair point re Vardar. It doesn’t sit well with some of us, throwing cash at it without the breakdown of how it’s all being exactly spent. If nothing great comes from there this year I’d prefer that he mothballed it all and focused solely on Kal and Finland, where we at least have proven resources.

We can only see what occurs, but the nine year wait is behind us, the Gov made its decision, and it means we have a clear path again now to do the work on Kal and Ulla in place to take us to enviro stage at the very least (Sami appeal on the concession to be decided of course). But we aren’t waiting on a political decision.

Sooz, it’s difficult here of late. I can fully appreciate why some people are hacked off. I am too, but I’m looking at the company’s plans for this coming year and thinking it’s more work than we’ll have undertaken for a long while. Important work. I’m trusting that some higher value will be achieved.

That’s about it really.

Pocko, no, whether you or I support Kurt will not impact the project or progress of the company. It will only do so if people continually sell. It will make our company’s position more difficult.

It seems you’ve had enough of Kurt, but have you spoken with him recently to give him a chance to address your concerns? Might be worthwhile. He is approachable. Then you can decide if you still feel the same, and, of course, he’ll have had your input, which I feel is useful.

Hi Jonny. I take your point, yes, progress has been slow and with a big spend over time under Kurt, but the difference since gaining the concession is that we do also now have Ulla and a new Chairman, who have both been and continue to be active in trying to push the business forward. We are actually making progress. Shareholders are also aware of some of the plans for this year, the company’s targets, and it isn’t Kurt alone we are supporting, it’s the company and the new people in post. Kurt of course the one in the firing line though. I just feel at some point we have to stop and decide whether we still believe in the project, in the investment coming good, and if we are to remain invested, to try then and keep an open-minded view. I’m not happy with progress last year Jonny, but I’ve accepted it and expect much better this year. Kurt himself has said he has to do a better job for shareholders. To address the sp. If he isn’t up to it for sure, we’ll know this year.

So I’m seeing how it goes and will be critical if I feel things could be improved upon. As ever.

Pocko, I’m not sure if I’m the ill-informed poster to whom you refer, but I did say it’s the first time we will have significant funds behind us alongside the mining concession. Just to be clear. I’m fully aware of the funding raised prior.

I notice you say it’s “your” money and not “our” money. If you do still remain invested then perhaps you could get behind Kurt now to see what can be accomplished this year, with the certain activities that are planned.
