I feel that most of us are determined to wait Googs, but I can't see the reason why this decision still may not be forthcoming until after the election. I believe it has reached the stage where there will have to be valid reasons for any Government dilly-dallying, and Kurt will demand them, if this process continues in its unfortunate form. I'm trusting he will be seeking clarification on a timescale for the decision, once the Sami comments are in. I'll probably be kicked in the face for saying that. Lol. Cheers Googs.

If this current Government configuration will be creating jobs by granting the Concession, then surely it makes sense to do so. Wouldn't that be another reason for the Swedish voters to favour the Government that it has? Only my thoughts. Lb and Paul, thanks for the info. Atb.

I agree with that. The problem only lies with the continual granting of extensions of time. Hence the five year candle for this mess. Hi lb. We don't need legal action, in my opinion, only for the Swedes to know that it could be taken. Kurt has, if I'm correct, mentioned the 'legal' word in his RNS releases, and I feel that sends out the signal adequately, that he is prepared to take such action if the Government doesn't uphold Sweden's laws in this process. It isn't a threat, rather a determination that justice will be served. Rightly pointing to the facts, and also to the lack of any evidence presented that mining and reindeer husbandry can't co-exist. It remains up to the Swedes then, if they wish to further help along an already sliding rating for investment in our sector in their country. They are already failing, so perhaps a legal case wouldn't look too clever, the subject matter being in the media now for several years. Some say that we couldn't afford a challenge. I feel, in view of the importance of the project, the asset quality, potential for revenue and job creation, that Kurt would have no trouble raising the funds to cover legal costs. But, it won't come to that. Just as long as the Government knows that it could. In my view. On we go.

The two week extension is a big deal, insofar as the Sami has two weeks further now to attempt to pick apart Kurt's letter, which only today is in the public domain. This extension should not have been given. It is not the Sami's application, nor are they officially part of any stage in this process of the granting or otherwise of a licence. In my opinion.
