Sooz, great point re the appeal affecting the sp. Yes, I'd not taken that into account and should have thought about that factor too. I think we are on the right lines based on what we know from the RNS news, or from what we have gleaned from it, that the enviro permit will not be a monstrous struggle to obtain and the law will out. Once the appeal is dealt with by the Government, all facts considered, the outcome must favour us. Hope that will then propel us forwards and upwards. Have to see Sooz. Trees all fine, just giving them a trim off the top and sides. x

What we do know re the concession permit conditions is that Kurt has not complained about any being unreasonable, nothing unexpectedly baffling, regardless of any fancy phraseology Thor used. So that’s why I feel it can’t be seen as complicated, the trip to the next stage. The environmental trip. If it was so convoluted, would Ulla have been willing? Sounded to me that when Thor granted the concession he was, via the way he gave the news, trying to show that the Sami concerns would be addressed, due to supposedly unique, far-reaching terms, when in actual fact it seems Kurt sees the terms as perfectly normal and certainly nothing untoward. Otherwise he would surely have complained, via our legal team.

All of this, only my thoughts. I am therefore still mystified by the fall in sp. Don’t people see we have a mining concession and it is neither stifling nor trifling.

The environmental permit terms themselves surely won’t be restrictive to the point of them being detrimental to the operation of the project, otherwise the green transition will be harder to achieve, so I personally feel we may be worrying overly, or should I say, some of those who sold may have done so due to the thought of worse case scenario uncertainty. Nerves. Especially with Thor’s wording re the concession.

Still a risk this of course, but less risk with a mining permit is my reckoning Aug.

The sp may not be telling the truth either. Lol.

Aug, hi. I doubt Ulla would have taken on the role if she had no idea how the next stage were to be funded and that gaining the environmental permit would be too problematic. Wouldn’t have touched BEM with a barge pole surely?

As for the sp, it has been annihilated since the positive decision on the concession, maybe more to come this week, but the fact remains that we have the key now to our next stage of development with the granting of the concession, lol, so we must perhaps trust that the value will out, and hopefully before long. Once we have the details maybe of how and who re funding/partnership/sale.

Thanks Alan. I've been holding these for almost 12 years now, so could do with a pay day from them. Not sure when it will happen, but with the concession awarded I feel we have entered another dimension. Providing the decision is not somehow overturned of course. As for the seaside versus inner city life, you've done the right thing again. Lol.

True Tintin, it’s a Sami v Swedish Government issue, but it has adversely affected our sp. So it has impacted upon us quite markedly already.

We must trust that the Government will quickly defend its position.

I reckon Al it’s low on volume because a challenge by the Sami to the concession was likely to be in the offing. They would also leave it as late as possible, which seems to be the case.

But surely the law is final, so we should be ok.

I’m not really past caring, so would like to see timescales now from Kurt, considering he mentioned today that it’s still business as usual re Kal. Good to hear that, but I’m looking for more specifics as news hopefully escalates while the Sami ladies and gents wrestle with the Swe-Gov.
