Then it might have a correction. It does not matter in the general scheme of things for anyone holding until production and beyond.

99% of the noise here is created by rampers and derampers, like GebrilBroth and KEFIGOLD. Neither types create any useful input and both operate under the illusion that it can affect the share price. Both are filtered by serious investors. Please think before you post and be aware that bubbling all the time does not help to alleviate fears and internal insecurity.

At $3700 gold price, the 5% NPV at the start of production is around 12.8p, plus 0.3 for every $100 upside of gold price. That does not include any exploration upside.

Typically, the market cap quickly reaches 40-50% NPV after sign-off because the PPSS idea is rather famous now. As the construction proceeds and the mine is de-risked, the valuation is supposed to reach 90-100% NPV, typically when the commercial production commences.

Tulu Kapi is an open-pit mine. There is almost no construction risk. I would not be surprised if the 50% NPV mark will be exceeded after the sign-off.

Chances are there will be a truce in a few weeks. Ukrainian elections will follow. That will remove all claims against FXPO from the corrupted Ukrainian gov in 3-6 months. 2-3x bugger.

By the time Zelensky leaves (after the ceasefire), FXPO may already be in the 200-240 range. Will he leave? I think it is not if but when. The US already decided to push him out. The guy could not keep his word and has zero trust. How much damage can be done to FXPO during Zelensky's remaining time? That is the question.

I usually do not go into politics unless it is related to business. Trump is a businessman. It is definitely not his objective to give Ukraine out to the "pro-Russian vassals". He wants both Ukraine and Russia to be the US allies when it comes to the confrontation with China. Therefore, he pushes a critical mineral deal with the Ukraine, and Arctic oil and gas development with Russia, in order to cement the alliance. Both will likely succeed, despite the US is not going to profit from it economically. Under the US protectorate, Russia and Ukraine will be friends, not enemies. I would not be surprised if both Russia and Ukraine are accepted in NATO in a few years.

All this "nationalisation" talk is the last attempt of Zelensky and his team to extract money from legitimate Ukrainian businesses before resigning. They did it all the years Zelensky was in power. A massive corruption scheme using state power for personal enrichment. Once Zelensky is put, the case will disappear.

The reality now is that it is almost impossible to find any money in the junior mining sector. No one is interested in multi-million Oz nonproducing deposits, which are sold for peanuts. It will change at the later stage of the gold bubble. However, not all juniors will make it through until that.
