Chilts - I'm sure that ENQ won't sign-off until they see production in the low to mid 40s on a sustained basis. Why pay BUMI the full day-rate on AK when it's not fully chugging along at a good clip..;-)

Jan - the previous load out of AK to AS finished at around 9 PM on the 9th of June. This load probably finished at around 6 AM on the 26th. I make that just under 16 and half days.

I broadly agree with the assessment that the departure could've been made more clear to the market/investors, rather than via a footnote in the AR. Given the reasoning that he left the business after Kraken 'had stabilised', it may not have had much of a negative impact. And to Auson's point, these small things do pile up and makes investors ask the question - show me the money!!!

I still stand by my assessment that this won't go far on the upside till the HY results are out, preceded by some more good news around commissioning of AK and maybe other wells' drilling progress. Of course, POO is always helpful on the upside (and bad on the downside, let's not forget).

Chilts/MO, HK is now away from AK to Scapa. The draught is 12,5 Vs 9.3 prior to the load. What do we extrapolate this load to? It sounds more like a 500 K load, rather than a 600K load.

HK moving towards AK now with a current 3 knot speed. Hopefully, it'll now be a closer to circa 600K load vs a close to 500K load, with the 2 day addition to the original load start date.

Crude tanker Searover is due to leave on the 28th from the same berth as HK. This could be a likely candidate to move this AK oil, yes?

One last thing I noted. Heather is due in at Orkney on the 27th at 12:00 hours.

Heather is now moving towards AK..maybe it was indeed stopped for a few hours earlier. If it does hook up with Ak shortly, that's a 14 day gap this time around for load 18.

Chilts It doesn't look right does it? Both HK as well as a tanker next to it have been frozen for about 6 hours now. As you suggest, tanker loading must be going on now, and we'll have no clue when it started. We'll have to extrapolate the load based on draught now, I assume?

Afternoon MO et all, It was awful not having the LSE mb up and running on a day like yesterday. OPEC event turned out to be bullish for oil and I'm reasonably optimistic that oil should find its footing at around these levels. Mid 80s POO wouldn't be off limits over the course of the summer. The well known Permian bottlenecks should result in rigs being pulled back as DUCs (drilled uncompleted wells) are stacking up in that region. I can see Goldman's optimistic projections coming good over the summer. We'll need to give ENQ a few months to bring out a series of positive updates before this takes off - final Kraken commissioning, H1 update with increased production and debt reduction, successful Alma work over, Magnus acquisition noting successful wells being drilled - there are so many more. :-) It will be a fabulous ride over the next 6 to 12 months. GLA...

BigN - there's an easy answer to that question. Squiffy/Indy/Mansard have multiple IDs to 'recommend' their own posts and make themselves feel good and important. A combination of boredom and AB can do wonders for some peoples' sanity. ;-)

Chilts, To your point, there's enormous fiscal stimulus floating about in the US economy through the tax cuts signed in December 2017. The big worry for POO and global growth is Trump with his trade war mantra. All the markets are trying to digest and price an appropriate level for these assets, not fully knowing whether this is bluster or whether the rhetoric will morph into something bigger that will knock down global growth. If Numpty Trumpty does find a compromise, I do expect both growth, and markets (stocks and POO) to take off over the next couple of quarters. Here's keeping our fingers crossed.

MO, Chilts, DD - Look, we did see one load slippage down to 17 - 18 days (Load #16), and MO noted that this particular period coincided with a hell of a lot of visits from FS Cygnus, possibly to support optimisation works. We're now noting average production in the circa 40K BOPD levels, extrapolated for Load #17 and hopefully for Load #18, given the 13 day window for this load. Given all of this, Enquest may have wanted to see steady output, in line with load 17 and 18, before final sign-offs and giving BUMI the full day rates for AK. So, we could be close to a final sign-off, and it's possible that they may want to see another load around early July before final sign-off. All of this is speculation obviously, but needless to say, progress is being made (and seen). ;-) Enquest has never guided for an average 50K BOPD production rates at this stage, as is being inferred by some of the posters. This should realistically happen after DC4 comes online in Q1 2019. Have some patience chaps, the SP will come good soon !!!
