Since managing your 9 share ENQ portfolio and constantly losing over the past few years has wreaked havoc on your mental health and made you squeamish about ENQ and AB, I'll be the good samaritan and get you a job as a janitor . Iffy Squiffy (AKA Indy) - let's first start by saying that I'm not carrying any baggage from the past in terms of where ENQ SP has been in the past 3 to 4 years and ostensibly, this is the source of your bitterness. I'm a new investor and I've taken a position in Enquest based on the fact that I think this is undervalued, POO at these levels are fabulous for FCF for Enquest as it looks like Kraken is back to functioning as normal. It doesn't bother me being labelled a Pollyanna by someone like you, ostensibly because I don't sing your praises or have nothing to thank you for, and I also take the opportunity to slap you back for 'only' the impatient (and baseless, IMO) shite you post about Enq (and of course about AB). With AB, it's likely that you were mentally traumatised by what's transpired to the SP in the past few years and that may well account for your 'hatred' of him (and that's your bleeding problem), but he's probably done as well as he could've in a low POO environment. The 25% debt-free Magnus acquisition was a case in point and I'm optimistic that he'll go on to exercise the 75% option too, and add more value to Enq shareholders. Your impatient backside would do well to wait till the H1 update and make a final judgement on what to do with your holding. But, based on what I've seen from a bitter old geezer like you, that is a pipe dream.

My good friend Squiffy - I have no expectations for a BB news about a tanker heading to AK, actually moving the SP. It reaffirms my investment thesis in the short/medium term, yes, but if you expect non-material 'news' to move SP on the day, then perhaps it's time to dial back in these expectations?? ;-)

Now, Jan, What makes you think that my friend Squiffy A. understands this and B. cares. All that Squiffy knows is that AB is cause of misery in this world. Maybe i write to IR and ask for an AB cure for Squiffy? On second thoughts, given they put out an RNS this afternoon, this could actually be a hindrance to them putting out the next RNS.

MO - I'll take 40K anyday. Onwards and upwards, slowly but surely. I may take the mother of all loans (in my world) and buy more, if ENQ were to hit 20s anytime soon because of POO. ;-)

Time-out, chaps. I know of KO since I joined this board circa 2 months ago, and I've known KO to be someone who I felt was genuinely was interested in the SP and the company doing well. KO is impatient, yes, and he needs hourly/daily validation of why the SP is behaving as it is. And hence, the regular daily/hourly updates on POO including a fall or rise thereon. I don't see an issue with that. To each their own and whatever floats their boat. I didn't think that KO was trying to **** off Rom or misquoting him; he was trying to spin a positive angle to the story. Let's all live in peace with the anticipation that the SP will catch up to fundamentals soon. GLA

Squif's already hurting a lot as a result of AB's incomptence, BigN. And you pour more scorn on Squiffy that they may not survive the day; I do fear for Squiffy's well-being. Squiffy needs a higher POO to make AB's performance look good, but my crystal ball isn't making any predictions for today, sadly!!!

Clueless Indy - go back to mummy and daddy home school and they could maybe tell than NPV is not really NVP. You were the numpty that takes a 21K over a 4 month period with a shutdown and extrapolates that over..god knows what period, and says 1.5 billion isn't worth the 21K that Enq is producing. Use your quarter brain and figure out what 21k would mean for annual production in million barrels, and what annual revenue would be, and work out what the damn NPV would be. It can't be horrendously difficult, can it? Oh wait, Mummy and Daddy didn't teach NVP and IRI at home school yet. Ok, back to Granny school for you then...

Indy, Go ahead with an NPV calculation and show me why Kraken is a disaster? I'll be eagerly waiting for a response from your masterful analysis. Best

Jan, I couldn't agree more. ;-) In times like these, I keep reminding myself one simple fact - the market can be irrational for longer than you are solvent. I know the frustrated chaps on the board do need/want constant reaffirmation of the perceived reality that we're undervalued, and I do sound like a broken record that we need 2 positive RNS before things really turn around for ENQ. And to top it off, we need POO to cooperate. We had target misses last year, and my assumption is that ENQ is being conservative in terms of targets this year, and not constantly spinning out bullish targets/updates that can't be met. To each their own though...;-)
