Fast-forward three-four months, after the third (perhaps even fourth) lockdown: I can see BoJo and Handjob popping up on all TV channels to praise "that fantastic British invention, inhaled interferon, a Covid treatment that will save lives, the NHS and the entire world" and claim that they always thought vaccines alone would not be the answer, and that the government always followed the science and provided the best possible support to Synairgen - the hero company "they always believed in". JVT will add an appropriate metaphor.
It will happen once the inevitable ****-up with vaccine deployment happens. SNG001 P3 trials will have completed by that time and everyone will want a piece of it.
Oh, and Gavin Williamson will say that the development of SNG001 has been made possible by Brexit and by the fact that "we are a better country" (or some other idiotic statement like that). :-)
Cue SNG shareholders laughing all the way to the bank...
