The conclusion of your analysis seems correct but I think the duration of that trading range will be much shorter than you expect. In fact, we have traded in (roughly) that range for a week now, and the GDXJ rebalance will push the SP higher next week, so that a return to that range is unlikely, unless the SWAG results disappoint.

It's lunchtime, folks! My plan is to have a relaxing meal now and come back around 1pm when the SP is above 30p.

I hope Tarquin keeps working during my break to drive the price even higher.

I don't think it makes much sense to sit on the sidelines waiting for a one-penny drop to get back in, so I bought some more yesterday and again today.

It's an interesting discussion. £100k may be a life-changing amount. It won't provide enough capital to sustain a person over sever years but it's certainly enough to last two to three years, during which the person in question can retrain or change their professional or family life in a major way, for example to ditch a job they had to do and switch to something they actually love doing. (If the new 'dream' job pays less money, the 100k can pay the difference for the first few years.) In that sense, it is life-changing.

I wouldn't mind making 100k Herr.

Seems like a 'data volume' measure to me. One can use it to express the 'size' of a trial but not to compare directly two trials, as one could be long but thin (few patients over a longer period of time) and the other short but wide (many patients over a shirt period of time).

I'd expect that a certain minimum data volume (in the above sense) would be required for a trial to be considered by a regulatory agency but there must also be a requirement on the minimum number of participants ('width') and, at least as far as side-effects are concerned, a requirement on the minimum duration.

Understood. I wasn't having a dig at you (hence the smiley), it's just that you're effectively a millionaire ('paper' at the moment but you can convert whenever you like). What you said are me smile, and I'd love to be in your financial position. I'm in with just over 100k shares, so well below those sorts of levels, but I'm happy with how GGP has performed this year.

The doom-mongers predicting a steep fall will be proven wrong. Tomorrow is going to be a great day, with the GDXJ announcement, and the front-running to fill the massive purchase will start on Monday. I reckon we'll be closer to 40p than 30p by the end of next week.

This morning, I predicted a 31p close today, and a strong bounce off that level tomorrow and next week. SWAG results will give us another boost as well.

Looking forward to tomorrow's opening. It's difficult to predict the market reaction but I think that the presence of an MRE is a game-changer that will trigger massive buying by institutional investors, so any sells by PI's will be quickly soaked up.
