IMHO , you are one of the best researched posters on this board , and way better qualified than me to answer that . My opinion is we will benefit hugely as a group with our tie up with Vechain but it won’t be sufficient to keep SYME together, going forward. AZ and the TF boys just appear to have different outlooks .

I think it would be disappointing , because I was very keen on the union . I don’t detect any warmth between the two original parties , but think Syme should definitely retain a stake . It is being reviewed as per the RNS , so anything is possible.

Personally , reading between the lines , I think you are right , there will be a parting of the waves . My impression is the TF boys thought they would have access to more capital , and AZ thought that TF would grow more quickly , giving AZ more time to get all his ducks in a row . It is has not worked out as either side has envisaged. IMHO .

Have not seen any posts from Mick2 for ages . Has he gone over to one of the TG groups ?

The figures you quote are indeed correct but they do not undermine the thrust of Peakhope’s argument. Liked the casual throw away line of “ 90% lower “ . You never miss an opportunity !

It is a month to the day when dilution on this scale was confirmed in a RNS . Ever since you have predicted with great glee , that the SP would tank and we all should bale . The SP is within 2% of the opening price then and the closing price now . May I respectfully suggest your prediction is pants and you stay out of the bookies , as it might cost you more than you dignity !

Divvyup post @ 12.55 today is a great read .

Very important, timing and schedule of the immediate following IM ‘s to gain momentum and interest. All very positive

Was it a general upbeat feeling among board members after the meeting , or just from your conversation with AZ ?

I agree . My observation would be, what a fine , good looking bunch of individuals my fellow Syme shareholders are , as if it is a prerequisite . This might explain why TW , Lex , Castle et al , sit on the sidelines throwing stones - they don’t pass mustard in the looks department.

Apologies for rambling , but I also felt more reassured with names and identities being offered .
Gives the deramping crew , something Syme does corner the market in , something more to shoot at . AZ is obviously all to aware of this , with his reference to TW , so it shows a degree of confidence on AZ’s part .
